Dear Diary
Today Cuthbert arrived home from his shift at the paper-mill and declared that he had decided on a new career move. He proudly announced that he was joining Godzilla’s army of gnomes.
I have to say that I was surprised by this declaration and a bit dismayed that I would have to break some disappointing news to him.
With heavy heart I told him he was too tall to be a gnome.
He’s in the huff with me now but
I’m sure he will forgive me soon.

It follows the same rules as the 10 words challenge, the only difference is that I decided to use 5 word combinations that amused me.
You don't have to use those combinations.
(Not sure how easy those words will be to incorporate into a poem, hence the challenge name of Terrible Two's)
The Challenge - Just for Fun
Write a poem incorporating all of the 10 words from the list.
The words can be used in any order and may be changed to variations ie - Shop = Shops, Shopping, Shopper.
Title your piece as you like.

One thousand singing shepherds
just led their flocks astray,
then took them to the ocean
to wait for judgement day.
On the beach a choir sang,
they rocked the blues away,
while many brown-robed priests
got on their knees to pray.
The sky was turning crimson,
as the sun pulled the plug,
and the weary got their shovels
so a chasm could be dug.
The shepherds kept on singing.
The choir clapped their hands.
The weary went on digging
and the sheep ruled the land.
Then at last, the time arrived,
and they looked up to the sky.
The mighty hand of God appeared,
and…
waved them all Goodbye…

This isn’t even a proper blog post.
It’s just me taking up space between my last post and the next one.
Now, if we were jacked-in to the Matrix, then this would be one of those
corridors with all the doors that lead to interesting places. But we’re not in
the Matrix, so all you‘ll find here, is wide open space.
On the plus side, this means that you’re free to go off in any direction you like, without all those pesky doors getting in the way.
