| Echoes of Whispers |
Aug 2, 2007 2:51 am Mood: Doomed, 1576 Views | | ECHOES OF WHISPERS
Caught in the echoes of whispers and lost in the dark before dawn, she knelt with her hands clasped together and prayed that the demon be gone.
Bitter coldness assaulted her body, her fingers and toes feeling numb, but closing her eyes, she ignored them for the day of her downfall had come.
Everything now seemed so futile while the voice in the air spoke of fear. She opened her heart for forgiveness and hoped that salvation was near.
But His breath was close to her neck, and His words creeping into her mind. He offered a cruel invitation, if she’d leave redemption behind.
Guilt was her only protection from the demon stoking her skin and she longed for the strength of conviction, to stop herself giving in.
He persisted with his dark seduction while she shivered with the cold. But His words full of tempting suggestions had already begun to take hold.
Caught in the echoes of whispers, with dark giving way to the dawn, she regretted her crime of passion and wished that she knew how to mourn.
Then she opened her arms to the demon and He set about taking her soul. Salvation was never an option so she’d pay for the life she stole.

| The recent fire |
Aug 1, 2007 2:55 am Mood: Nosey, 1607 Views | | I mentioned on another of my other blog posts about one of my neighbours house going up in flames. I've posted a picture of the aftermath. The fire brigade was still there at the time. They had 3 engines out to tackle the blaze. It looks terrible. The house was gutted and the fire also traveled along under the eaves of the house to its next door neighbour.
It turns out that both the families affected were away on holiday at the time, so thankfully, no one was hurt.
The photo is taken from my kitchen window. |

| I Bruise Easily |
Jul 30, 2007 4:26 am 839 Views | | I BRUISE EASILY Lyrics Natasha Bedingfield
My skin is like a map of where my heart has been And i cant hide the marks its not a negative thing So i let my guard down drop my defences down by my clothes i'm learning to fall with no safety net to cushion the blow
I bruise easily so be gentle when u handle me Theres a mark you leave Like a love heart carved on a tree I bruise easily Cant stratch the surface without moving me underneath I bruise easily I bruise easily
I found you fingerprints on a glass of wine Do you know you're leaving them all over this heart of mine too But if i never take this leap of faith I'll never know So im learning to fall with no safety net to cushion the blow
[Chorus]
Anyone wo can touch you can hurt you or heal u Anyone who can reach you can love you or leave u
So be gentle...
[Chorus]
I bruise easily I bruise easily

| Don't Listen |
Jul 27, 2007 2:22 am Mood: Wordless, 907 Views | | DON’T LISTEN
With a dirge of crumpled notes falling You crash where you don’t belong Untidy on the sinking floor Like a requiem cut short And there you lie, uncouth Untouched Calling out the menace Of another verse As you scream to Steal pendulous rhythms From wordless eyes
There is madness in your mantra It echoes of long dreams in dark depths Scavenged from a skulking chasm Where the rasping parchment guards your Shroud of devious craft And as you inch below the surface Crowing to be heard I wish for all the wishes of the world… And yet still I cannot allow you To sink

| I have the power |
Jul 18, 2007 3:12 am Mood: Powerful, 976 Views | | The electrician turned up yesterday afternoon and started working on the wiring for this room. Yay This morning all the sockets have been replaced and I have oodles of working power So far, everything is going fine and the ongoing problem I had with the computer router seems to have stopped. (The power kept cutting out every few minutes, which meant the internet would disconnect) I was never sure if it was the router at fault or if it was the electricity supply. So please keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed for me that I keep the power of the net
Have a wonderful day everyone |

| The Last Crusade |
Jul 15, 2007 8:36 am Mood: courageous, 945 Views | | THE LAST CRUSADE
Fear became the last crusade, beneath a trembling light. Where blindness stared and almost saw the dark beyond the bright.
But the carnival laid down its tents in honoured fields of might And grand with scents it spread its maw and showed its teeth of white
The tolls we scared so hearts gave way to a fusion of delight, where clowns grew bold and stained their smiles against the myriad night.
And many knew the mystery, which dragged our souls to fight. But none could leave without the hope from a pedestal of light.

| My Oomph is broken |
Jun 13, 2007 2:57 pm Mood: tired, 1653 Views | | DAMP SQUIB
These words won’t start with a bang. You see, I’ve lost my oomphability, run foul of the fierce fireworks that swoosh skywards to delight.
These words can’t fly can’t walk on water can’t drink you dry or end in uproar. But they can fizzle out

I'm about to fizzle out too, zzzzzzzzzzz Nite all |
