Sooo tired and fed up. Sorry its not a perky blog :-( - need hugs desperately Sep 8, 2006 10:47 am

Sorry this isn't a poem or a perky blog, but feeling bit fed up today. All this week my nieghbour has had his tv on full blast until midnight in his living room. Then he goes to bed and watched it in bed until late. Last night, or should I say this morning, he watched until 2.30am. I had to be up for work at 5am! I am soo tired. But I can't sleep... you know when you get overtired and cant relax? Welcome to my world!

I was supposed to be on a date yesterday, but I got a text TWO MINUTES before he was due to arrive. I had spent ages getting the house nice and a meal cooked. And only had chance to have a little bath.. only 5 minutes to wallow rather than my usual two hour soak. He told me he was at work, but then I saw him online looking at other womens profiles... he forgot I am really good with computers and can tell when someone is online, even though they appear invisible... He got a very eloquent email today...

I am so fed up of timewasters, and liars. I wasted a lot of time, and money on texts and being online chatting to get to know him. I think I am going to become a nun.

Anyway, enough of rant. Those that follow my blogs know what I am like! please forgive me for being like this I just need hugs... lots of hugs... millions of hugs...

I am happy. The sun is shining, my cats are purring, the garden is full of vegetables I have nurtured, and I am just going to sit with my blind friend and read to her for an hour or two. I love visiting her, as we have the most wonderful talks about Oxford's past.

How are you feeling today? If you're sad, I send a hug, if you're happy, I send a hug, if you need a hug....hey, I send a hug!

Which animal is your favorite? Mine is cats obviously!! My cats Casper and Daisy are always there, with purrs and unconditional love!

Tell me any nice stories you have about your pets... have they done anything silly? Daisy has taken to climbing into the washing machine.. I have to be soo careful when I wash a load...

Just wanted to put a light-hearted post on here.. mine have been a bit low and dark recently so wanted to cheer things up!

Two hour bath.... bliss!!! Sep 4, 2006 11:29 am

I have now got my boiler fixed! yey!! For the past two months, I have been having to boil water on my stove and then carry it upstairs to my tub. It took an hour to get a decent amount of water to have a very quick scrub. I have now got muscles on my arms the size of Arnie's!!

I went the whole hog getting my bath ready... Candles, aromatherapy oils (lavender and sandlewood, with a touch of ylang ylang thrown in) a small glass of wine, a good book and some nice music. I heard the doorbell go, and my mobile ringing.. but I was not wasting one damn second of my wallow!! Casper joined me in the bathroom... Here he is watching me in the picture!

It was absolute bliss. I forgot my troubles for a whole two hours. I only got out because the water was getting cool!

I would recomend a soak to everyone! I do conserve water, the water I used for my bath will go on the garden, and will use it to do washing up, so it won't be wasted.

I have had 56 comments on my "Im so mad today bloody men" post.. but seem to have dissapeared off the most active recent posts... I think its the blog vortex again.....

Or can someone else delete me?? I am completely flumoxed!!

Help me! what can I do to get me back??

Its the anniversary of my dog passing away. I know its ten years ago, but still makes me feel sad. A lot of people reading this will be thinking "but it's only an animal!"

That animal was my friend, always there when I needed a hug with unconditional love. He was 15 when I had to have him helped into the spirit world... he had cancer and had been suffering for a while...

I have spoken to quite a few people who have lost pets in various ways, and they are embarresed to express how they feel because "you're not supposed to get this upset about an animal"

I just want people to know that it is ok to feel the way you do, you loved your pet, and they were probably around more than so called friends and people were, and gave you more back in love. And hey, they were a big part of the family.

When Mike my husband was bad with his alcoholism, I got my cats cuddling up to me and following me around as if to say "hey i'm here let me hug you" When Mike passed away, I don't know what I would have done if my cat Casper hadn't been around. He didn't leave me alone for one minute. animals know when you are sad, upset and my old dog used to get tissues from a box if I cried and pretended to cry.. he was one smart dog!

If you want to tell me about a pet you loved and miss, please tell me, it always helps to get your feelings out.. and please, those who don't feel the same, please have respect for those who feel like me and don't reply with anything derogetory.

The person who tried to scam me is mark-cool-1.

This person had been IMing me for around a month. I was nearly taken in by this, but got suspicious when I emailed the mobile number this "mark" person had sent me, pretending to be a USA citizen.. to a good friend in Nigeria, and he told me it was a nigerian mobile number...

I then realised I was being scammed all along.. I had my suspicions, but needed proof to do something! Plus, I had phoned the hospital to ask about the doctor who had supposedly emailed me asking for funds for a road accident "mark" had supposedly been in. This doctor had emailed me, and his spelling was awful, and attached a "british" passport, which I could see was a fake a mile off...and wanted to send money as "mark" had none...

This so called doctor and mark were one and the same... my friend in Nigeria called the number and got mark/the doctor... I am so glad I have my friend in Nigeria.. a good christian man, and a good friend! He reported it to the authorities, and it turned out that the scam was being run from an internet cafe in Lagos.

What do you think to this my blogging friends? There are some wonderful people in Nigeria, but its the few who make money (or try to) that ruin it for everyone else...

Had to call a plumber out this week. I am now forced to survive on bread and water this week.. and I'm not joking!!!

All I wanted was for my new taps to be fitted, but he found a leak. Hmmmm. So I had a look, and there was one. I told him not to bulls**t me as I have done a bit of plumbing in my time, I just didn't have the kit for the job.

He was at my house for an hour and a half, and charged me for two -AND left footprints in my bath! And didn't put the bath panel back on again.

Well, I got rid of the prints, and put the panel on myself, and cleaned up. I should have taken money off but I'm too soft!

My gripe, is that when you are a woman on your own, you get the short end of the stick - some men think you're thick!

Well let me tell you honey... I AIN'T!!! I have looked after my home for a few years now, doing the DIY and mending things... I fixed my vacuum cleaner today.. on my own without a man's help! I took it apart, re-attatched the belt and then put it back together again!

I get this a lot with builders, plumbers and suchlike. It is a bit annoying!

Because I'm a woman doesn't mean I can't do the same things as men can! Phew.. rant over! What do my blogging friends think??
