Mood: curious, 559 Views | Some may say jihad is a negative thing. Others say it depends. Further more, others may say it's the media that makes it look bad. I'm 'bout to give ya the real meaning. Jihad in arabic literally translates to personal struggle. So yes, the military jihad, which is what we mostly think of when we hear the word, actually came later on. The true meaning of a jihad is an internal struggle with oneself to succeed, or please allah.So do u support jihad, Kass...o crap...I knew this was comin'...ok troops. put down your aks, and my American friends, STOP! RUNNING! hear me first. I support the personal struggle with oneself. our own jihad and we all have one. it's goo to truggle, for it makes u stronger once u succeed. as for military jihad, if I supported that, I'd be out there with the bullet and the bombs too. someone once asked me, Kass, why are u too not fighting for your country? First, I like living? Second, I don't support the military jihad, third, I can fight for my country without the bullets and bombs. I have a lil jihad of my own. My own internal battles. Lanka and I were talking about this today. So I ask u, what is your jihad. What's your personal struggle. What do u hope to achieve within yourself?

We were gonna tour the US, but we're just gonna visit a couple of my friends, we might go see the other Bruce, and we definitely wanna see Silvan, and we're getting married in NY>. I know Bruce quietman wanted to meet me at some point he mentioned that in the group discussion thingies. So we just might send an invitation...hehe...well I'm off. 559 Views | | Silvan, my US marine friend said to me online not too long ago that I've been neglecting my American friends. He's right, seeing as most of 'em are on ff here. Soooooooooooooo...sorys! I have been. It's true. But I'm newly engaged, theres been talk of babies, and I've had a lot on my mind. I recently had the honour of talking to Silvan's daughter on phone. Quite the lil American patriot already she is. What a sweeties. I'll have her singin' the star spangled banner like a professional in no time! Seeing as I teach singing for a living, it shouldn't take me much to teach her what to do and when. I've also been thinking of my father lately. Probably cuz I was shown some random 911 vids. What does he have to do with 911? He was a terrorist...well, still is to me for those who don't know. As for me, wells, he went 1 way, I went the other, we haven't spoken since thanks to allah. Theres times where I'm my own trst and I torture myself to no end. I think that comes from him. I have things to work through because of what I've seen so young.I still have a short fuse, passed down from him to me unfortunately. I hold some pretty ugly characteristics, but I have a good handle on them. A majority of the time, I'm a peaceful person. I like to keep it that way if I can. U don't bother me, I don't bother u. Simple. So as I listen to a song that bashes Osama like he deserves, I'm gonna go make myself a nice warm drink. Any1 care to join?Salam! | |
