To Know me is to Love me.

A moment shared in friendship, is more valuable than the worlds largest diamond.

Your weight lays on me
Just the right pressure
In just the right places.

Deeply penetrating,
Throbbing,
Driving,
You squeeze me so hard.

Your caress,
As light as a feather,
as heavy as a boulder.

Impossible to concentrate.
My mind is lost to your wiles.
No focus, except on your pain.

I hate sinus headaches.

What?

Oh get your mind out of the gutter.

I wrote this sometime back, but being sick, decided to resurect it. Enjoy my suffering.

I finally got my computer back from the tech support. They changed the hard drive, but did not bother looking for a cause for all the recent component failures. So, if it holds to form, I will be dropping it off at the service center again in a few weeks, for the fifth time, and they will be getting me clearance to pick out a new one. I know I am not a trained service tech, just an electronics engineer, but you would think they would listen to a customer's complaint more closely.

I also have a flu, and will be trying to keep work rollin, and get over it. I feel horrid this afternoon.

Be well, my friends. See you around some more, now that I have my own machine again, for a while, anyways.

Hey guys and gals. Another week has passed us by. Nothing new to report here. The work market is slowing down early, this year. I am managing a few different jobs, so I get a little extra income from others labors. But with things so slow now, I am afraid for the winter months here.

I have accepted an offer for some tech work in R&D again. Means back in the field, and months gone from home base at a time. Moving my base of opperations back to Houston for this. First stop, looks like Venezuella, December. Sorry, no holiday cookies this year. When I get back, I will have at least a month between contracts, so I will try to do a special Jimy Holiday, cookies for everyone then.

I hope you are all staying sane, healthy, and happy too.

He who looks to the Lord with optimism secures the prize, while the pessimist also secures what he envisions: defeat.

From there to here
A car driving on down the road
The path is clear
Will we ever be free of this load?

The past weighs on us
Memories of moments bad and good
like chains to this life
Lessons learned, problems understood

The trail here winds
Through the valley of death
Brush choked vines
Never impede the path

A fork in the road
Was there a picnic here?
Cutlery lying about
The phrase seems so unclear

Words to lead and guide
Answers to questions unasked
Meanings that change with time
The light that guides is masked.

What is the next stanza?

A days wasted efforts

Lost in your eyes
Swimming in the pain
Of love long past
The clouds that bring rain

A walk on the cold streets
The town asleep
Water pours on us
The sky and I weep

The alleys so close
So safe from the world
Of sky high glass and brass
And the thefts untold

This coat soaked
The chill numbs
I reach out
but I'm all thumbs

Fingers strum the strings
A voice lifted

Seven Spanish Angels

He looked down into her brown eyes
And said say a prayer for me.
She threw her arms around him
Whispered,"God will keep us free."
They could hear the riders coming.
He said, "This is my last fight.
If they take me back to Texas, they won't take me back alive."

There were seven Spanish angels
At the alter of the Sun.
They were prayin for the lovers
In the valley of the gun
When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared
There was thunder from the Throne
And seven Spanish angels, took another angel home.

She reached down and picked the gun up
That lay smokin in his hand.
She said, "Father please forgive me
But I can't live without my man."
She new the gun was empty.
She new she couldn't win.
But her final prayer was answered when the rifles fired again.

There were seven Spanish angels
At the alter of the Sun.
They were prayin for the lovers
In the valley of the gun
When the battle stopped and the smoke cleared
There was thunder from the Throne
And seven Spanish angels, took another angel home.
