I have included my recent post for those who had not read about .
Last night, I pulled the drapes to one side and gazed out my window to look at the moon, as I remembered how the moon and stars looked on the beach in Cemaes Bay, Wales. The moon rays of light would shimmer on the waves as they rolled gently onto the sand beneath my bare feet. I could still hear the soft sound of the ocean as I thought of Jack when I heard a call coming in on my computer. It was my friend, Mal, calling from Wales.
As my computer cam started to open, the first video frame was a familiar scene I had once viewed. It was the garden behind the house in Cemaes. Immediately I heard the sweet song of the dickey birds singing. My view was clear enough to see the seed on the window sill that was Jack’s favorite. Mal said, “Shhh, be very quiet and listen.” I could hear the doves way in the back in the garden. Their favorite place to sing was from the cherry tree, located in the rear of the garden. Then I heard the sound of feathers in the wind. Oh, to my delight, there on the window sill landed, Jack! I remained quiet, while I watched Jack enjoy his seeds. It was then that I noticed his right wing. Some of his flight feathers were missing.......
The next thing I remember was opening my eyes, alone in my own bed in St. Petersburg. My head sinking into the pillow to find the tears I had shed during the night. Thinking to myself, “Did I just dream about Jack?” Did Jack come to visit the garden and fly onto the window sill? Is Jack safe at home in the garden in Cemaes?
Is he soaring amongst the clouds in Cemaes or has he moved on into the forest where the ducks flock? One begins to wonder what is important in life as we think about Jack. It is only the ones that have known Jack that can answer that question.
It is a mystery then. I look up into the sky and think of Jack. I think of those who have loved Jack, and whose lives have been changed by knowing him. The skies will never be the same.

I want you to hold me, my love, Hold me like you will never let me go. Watch the sunset sink below the horizon... And the moon appears in the night sky. Your eyes are the best stars I have seen. It is your heart that is larger than the moon And shines brighter than the sun. Our love can cross the universe. I want us to blend together like a waterfall Like there is no beginning and no end. All my kisses belong to you. We will once again feel the comfort of our love So let the stars sparkle in our eyes And guide us back together again, Before the sun rises..... Copyright © 2009

Dreams come into your head when you least expect it. My dreams are very colorful, are yours? Do you remember your dreams? What do you dream about?
I look forward to sleeping because most of my dreams are about flying... go figure that.

I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.

Grains of Sand

I can see you walk along our sandy beach Alone with your hand empty Alone without my shoulder The misty rain upon your face A place I used to touch not long ago. The love I have for you is more than I can give It overflows into the air and travels to you. Do you feel the breeze? Do you feel the ocean spray of my tears of missing you As you walk with our memory in your heart? While you see the grains of sand upon your feet Wash away your footsteps with the tide But our love will never fade Even if the sun sets Our souls are still hand in hand on our beach. If I caught the world in a bottle And everything was still beneath the moon Without your love would it shine for me? If I was smart as Aristotle And understood the rings around the moon What would it all matter if you loved me?
Here in your arms where the world is impossibly still With a million dreams to fulfill And a matter of moments until the dancing ends Here in your arms when everything seems to be clear Not a solitary thing would I fear Except when this moment comes near the dancing's end
If I caught the world in an hourglass Saddled up the moon so we could ride Until the stars grew dim, Until...
One day you’ll meet a stranger And all the noise is silenced in the room You’ll feel that you're close to some mystery In the moonlight and everything shatters You feel as if you’ve known her all your life The world’s oldest lesson in history
Here in your arms where the world is impossibly still With a million dreams to fulfill And a matter of moments until the dancing ends Here in your arms when everything seems to be clear Not a solitary thing do I fear Except when this moment comes near the dancing’s end
Oh, if I caught the world in an hourglass Saddled up the moon and we would ride Until the stars grew dim Until the time that time stands still, Until...

The Seasons of Love Leaves

Budding interest growing Spring rain of thoughts flowing Through the open sky I see it in your eye.
The fun of summer sun The heat has begun Rays shining on your face A kiss, then an embrace.
The autumn passage of orange and red Falling in our love bed Colors ignited. Passion united.
Winter winds blow and shear Cold is the lonely tear Frozen in time, just a memory The leaf of our love is washed out to sea.
