LADIES & GENTLEMEN -

I am surprised at some of the things I read and see on My Space and other internet sites.

Do you not understand that whatever you post on one of these sites is viewed around the world?

Many of you are posting your real names in full, your birthdate, place of birth, your home city, your place of employment, where you go to school and much more personal information. You are making the work of identity thiefs, sexual predators, and other criminals much easier.

Always remember...anyone can hide behind a computer, assuming any personality and presenting any image they choose, and some of those people are extremely dangerous.

And some of you need to pause and think before posting. Ask yourself, "Is this something I want my family members, family friends, teachers, coaches, co-workers, employer, pastor or rabbi, law enforcement, and the whole wide world to read and/or see?"

And do not let your guard down in Chat rooms. Watch your comments.

Do not ever forget that this is the WORLDWIDE web!

Have fun on the 'net, but please be careful.

ISRAEL'S SURVIVAL IS UP TO US, THE U-S! Aug 4, 2006 12:38 pm

FRIENDS -

We Americans must not contribute to the destruction of Israel and a new "Holocaust!" The Muslim militants can't be trusted. Muslims are committed to the destruction of freedom and liberty in the name of Allah, and that will never change so long as they live. Muslims worldwide have no other allegiance, regardless of where they reside. Muslims intend to eliminate all Jews and Christians with whom they can never live peacefully under any circumstances. And no agreement or piece of paper is going to stop the killing.

If the militant Muslims put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.

If the Jews put down their weapons today, there will be no more Israel.

Iran's militant Shiite Muslim President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has "advised" the Jews of Israel "to pack up and move out of the region before being caught in the fire they have started in Lebanon." If Iran and/or other Shiite Muslims can attack Jerusalem with lightening and/or fire, they will, considering it their prophetic Muslim duty. And Iran has many missles that can strike like lightening, exploding, causing numerous fires and lighting up the sky.

We Americans must defend and support Israel! Israel is the front line in our worldwide war against terrorism. If the United States of America and out American way of life is to survive, we must defeat Muslim terrorism wherever it exists, or we'll have to eventually make a last stand here in the USA in our own states, cities and neighborhoods.

USA CITIZENS' "RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR" ARMS THREATENED Jun 24, 2006 1:44 pm

Fellow AMERICANS -

The "U.N. Conference to Review Progress Made in the Implementation of the Programme of Action to Prevent and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects" is a follow-up to the "U.N. Conference on the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons" meeting in the summer of 2001.

The Bush Administration has made it clear that the United States will not support any proposal that threatens U-S citizens' Right to Keep and Bear Arms. But the U.N. is trying to abolish our U. S. Constitution's 2nd Amendment and to disarm all law-abiding citizens of the United States of America.

The Third World United Nations General Assembly is trying to have jurisdiction over U- S citizens by passing that global treaty, ordering all of us in the U-S to surrender our firearms, our freedom and liberty, and accept U.N. domination.

The United Nations nor any other foreign power should ever be able to eliminate or compromise in any way our freedoms guaranteed by our Bill of Rights and our U. S. Constitution.

We American gun owners will be in serious trouble if and when a liberal, leftist and/or socialist is elected President of the United States. Can you imagine what will happen if former President Bill Clinton becomes U. N. Secretary General, and Sen. Hillary Clinton is elected president and she signs that treaty?

The 2nd Amendment guarantees we citizens of the USA the right to own guns to personally defend ourselves, and those guns enable us to fight to preserve our liberty and freedom if it's ever threatened by an enemy or a dictatorial U. S. government.

The top Japanese commander said Japan's military forces did not invade the U. S. mainland after they destroyed our Navy at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, because they learned from history that American citizens owned guns and they would fight any enemy that threatened their freedom and liberty.

We USA citizens must fight the United Nations' Global Gun Ban. We must preserve our Constitutional right to Keep and Bear Arms. Please contact your Senator and Representative now and express your opposition to United Nations attempts to disarm American citizens.

As for me, I shall never give up my guns...not while I am alive and able to shoot. If this means defending my right to "Keep and Bear Arms" 'til my death, so be it. I don't want to live in a U. N. (or any other) dominated world void of the individual freedoms guaranteed us by our Bill of Rights and our U. S. Constitution.

As that great American patriot Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty, or give me death."

May God continue to bless and protect the United States of America!

SIPPIN' AND SHOOTIN' IN THE USA May 21, 2006 5:43 am

Attention, SMOKERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS -

I am a shooter. I like to shoot. There is nothing more important to me than my right to shoot my guns.

Shooting while I drink is very relaxing for me. While I'm drinking and socializing with friends at the bar, I like to take out one of my guns and shoot things.

I enjoy just sitting and shooting my guns in a restaurant after a good meal. I enjoy shooting my guns while I'm shopping. I enjoy shooting my guns in busses, trains and planes.

If I want to play a little Russian roulette, that's my business. If I'm only critically injured and can't afford extended care, society has the responsibility to provide me with proper healthcare and must take care of me.

If some other men or women and children get seriously injured or killed by my shooting, so what? I have a right to shoot anytime and anywhere I want.

And, if I die, my wife and family can sue the gun and bullet manufacturers, the business owners, the city, the state and the federal government, because it's all their fault.

Surely, you don't think that I am personally responsible for my actions, that I should be held accountable.

I bear no more personal responsibility and am no more accountable than any smoker whose smoking may be personally fatal and whose exhaled secondhand smoke seriously injures or causes the death of innocent men, women and children.

Get it? It's simply an analogy, Dummkopf...but a very serious one.

I hope and pray that all of you city council members and state and federal legislators and officials clearly understand. It is well past time that you become responsible representatives of the vast majority of American citizens who elected you...and do what is healthy and right for a change without overdue consideration of a vocal minority.

Ban smoking in all public places, especially those frequented by families and children.

The United States of America is a Democratic Republic where majority rules. Never forget it.

FRIENDS -

I am a motorcyclist.

I am a member of HOG, the Harley Owners Group; A.M.A., the American Motorcycle Association; and ABATE, A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments.

I learned to ride on a friend's brand-new 1957 Triumph Bonneville in 1957.

After being seriously injured in a February, 2001, traffic accident when my 2000 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited was hit head-on by a truck that was driven by a DUI parolee who veered into our lane in an attempt to elude pursuing police, I added a Texas Ranger custom sidecar to my 2001 Harley-Davidson Ford FXDL Dyna Low Rider factory custom, and I continue to ride my handicap licensed rig.

As overall highway deaths are declining here in the United States of America, motorcyle fatalities are skyrocketing, accelerating to their highest level since 1987.

In 2004, 4,008 motorcycle riders died as the result of traffic accidents. That is up 7.9 percent over the deaths in 2003, and it is an astronomical increase of 89 percent above deaths in 1997, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

During the last year, automobile passenger deaths decreased by 1.8 percent to 31,693. While civilian vehicle deaths have declined on our American highways, that is still far more Americans being killed on U. S. highways than the couple of thousand of our USA troops who have been killed on the battlefield in Iraq, and that's a war. Congress added $3-million to the Federal Transportation Bill to fund a study of motorcycle crashes, possibly caused by a huge increase in new motorcycle ownership and some states' decreased mandatory helmet law requirements.

For the record, I am against any government passing any legislation in an effort to simply protect sane citizens from themselves. What's next? Are motorists going to be forced to wear helmets? A big balooney Michelin character kind of padded suit for all pedestrians to wear in order to prevent the many pedestrian deaths across our nation? I am for all motorcylists wearing helmets, but I am opposed to any law that dictates to any adult that he or she must wear a helmet on a motorcyle, in a car or walking down the sidewalk under penalty of punishment. Responsible motorcylists, bicyclists, skaters and skateboarders do wear helmets.

On my way from WNOE-FM/AM radio in the French Quarter of New Orleans to "America's Shopping Channel" in Kenner, Louisiana, Friday night December 20, 1985, at about 6:45 PM...I was critically injured in a motorcycle traffic accident on Airline Highway at Clearview Parkway in Metairie.

As I flew off my 1985 Yamaha Maxim-X, I prayed to God, "Please help me."

I was launched through the air, and the flying motorcyle came down hard on top of me. My left knee was destroyed, my left leg broken in several places between the knee and ankle, many ribs were broken, and the aorta of my heart parially unspiraled. My head hit the pavement hard, and I was almost killed.

But, thank God, I was wearing a leather vest and jacket, and my 3/4 Bell helmet. I am alive today because of God's help and that helmet.

An auto accident occurs. Passengers are killed. They weren't wearing their seatbelts.

An unseen pedestrian steps from between parked vehicles, suddenly appearing on a heavily traveled street in the middle of a downrown block during rush hour. Drivers have no time to stop, and they are unable to avoid the jaywalker. The pedestrian is killed. The pedestrian didn't use the marked crosswalk at the traffic light.

A motorcylist goes down. The motorcyclists head hits the pavement, and the motorcyclist is killed. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

A 4-wheel off-road recreational vehicle, traveling on a public roadway, is hit by a legally licensed vehicle. The riders die. More than one person safely allowed on the off-road 4-wheeler is onboard at the time of the collision, and they were all riding illegally on a public roadway without safety helmets.

There's a boating accident. Occupants die. They were not wearing life preservers.

Homeowners are awakened by a loud noise, and quickly realize that someone is breaking into their home. One of them quickly dials 911, and police are immediately dispatched. Arriving at the home, police are too late. All of the occupants of the home are dead, shot to death by the intruder or intruders. None of the dead owned a gun. They had no way of defending themselves against the armed home invaders.

We personally bear the ultimate responsibility for our and our loved ones safety.

I see motorists in the USA and countries around the world speeding, driving recklessly, running red lights and Stop signs, racing through caution lights and past Caution and Yield signs, and ignoring other traffic signs, markings and laws. And many of those traffic offenders have some religious symbol or law enforcement sticker displayed on their vehicle.

All of the above mentioned incidents and deaths were the direct result of personal negligence by the victims and their families.

We citizens of the world have a choice. Obey the law and common sense rules, and live! Or ignore the law and the rules, including our common sense of personal responsibility, and die or be seriously injured.

JORAN VAN DER SLOOT...GUILTY OR INNOCENT?!? Mar 8, 2006 5:17 am

When the story of attractive blonde American tourist Natalie Holloway disappearing after a last night of graduation partying at Carlos & Charlie's on Aruba first broke, I listened and read carefully all of the stories and statements from the charming little Dutch island, here in the United States and the Netherlands. I followed the story closely from day one to now.

Aruba had been my favorite of all the islands my wife and I had visited on vacation. Being on Aruba, was much like going back in time to the 1940s and early '50s on the Mississippi Gulf Coast here in the USA. And I fell in love with the native Aruban people and the laid-back lifestyle. I often said that I would be on Aruba almost every month if it were considerably closer to the US mainland.

As the story of Natalie Holloway broke and developed, I became more and more disappointed with Aruba, especially the Dutch officials at all levels and many of the Dutch business people and citizens. I never became disenchanted with native Arubans, but I was perplexed by the fact that none of them appeared to be coming forth with any information. Since some Arubans are working and traveling to and from work during the wee hours of every day, someone saw something that would be very helpful to authorities.

As story after story became public knowledge, it soon became very evident that something tragic happened to the American teenager, some people were lying and there was definitely an attempt to sanitize the story of the girl's disappearance, diverting responsibility, and maybe there was a big cover-up in place to protect Aruba's reputation as a "paradise" vacation destination.

17-year-old-Joran van der Sloot, the Kalpoes and party boat deejay Cruz all admittedly lied, and soon became the primary suspects. Joran's lies, lifestyle, social history and the fact that he admittedly was the last person known to have seen 18-year-old Natalie Holloway soon made him Primary Suspect # 1.

While there is "dirty money" invested on Aruba and rejected elements of society and some criminals from other countries have become part of the islands citizenry and work force, that could also be said of many Cribbean and countless other vacation destinations around the world, including some here in the United States of America.

No young lady should be out alone partying and drinking until near dawn anywhere in the world, whether in a vacation destination or not. Unfortunately, there is nowhere on the face of this Earth where a young lady is safe alone in the early hours of the morning, especially when she is drinking. An attractive young woman alone and under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs is a recipe for tragedy. Their kidnappings, rapes and murders are a problem for police detectives, other investigators, and law enforcement and other officials around the world, even here in the United States of America.

I have recorded and viewed with interest Joran van der Sloots recent American interviews on ABC-TV and FOX News. I have studied his voice tones, his eyes, facial expressions and body language. I have critically analyzed his every phrase, expression and movement. And, as someone with many years of experience counseling and interviewing young people in trouble, I soon realized that while this young man did lie when he found himself to be a primary suspect in the disappearance of Natalie Holloway he is apparently telling the truth as he knows it now. I believe that any lawsuit or further persecution or prosecution of Joran van der Sloot is inappropriate, immoral, unethical and extremely unfair to him and his family.

As for me, I deeply regret my original conclusions and statements regarding Joran van der Sloot, and I sincerely apologize to Joran van der Sloot, his Father, his Mother, his brother and the people of Aruba. I pray all of you and God will forgive me.

And, Joran, you and/or your family are welcome in our home, our community, our state and our country anytime.

May God richly bless you and all of those with whom you share love, and may He always keep you safe!

Many seem to not know or understand the word FRIEND.

I occasionally receive a very negative, sometimes irrational, Reply from someone I have sent an Invitation to join my FRIEND Network.

Look the word FRIEND up in a good dictionary.

The FriendFinder FRIEND NETWORKs are exactly that...a Network of FRIENDS.

Real, honest and true FRIENDSHIP seems to be a rare thing in our world today.

And that's a shame.

May God enlighten those who have a problem with FRIENDSHIP!

PRAY for NEW ORLEANS, South LA & South MS Sep 1, 2005 7:23 am

Dear FRIENDS -

My wife and I reside in Ridgeland, Mississippi, literally across the street from Jackson. Many, many trees, telephone poles and electric poles are down in our area, and quite a number of homes and businesses have damage. But we are very fortunate. While hundreds of thousands of our neighbors in Central Mississippi are still without power, our electrical service was restored Tuesday night, and we have gasoline in our cars and my motorcycle.

Other citizens are scrambling for gas, ice, food, water and generators, much of which they are buying out of 18-wheeler trailers in parking lots along I-10, I-20 and I-55. Very few businesses have been able to re-open.

But the real tragedy is South of us and I-20.

I once had homes in New Orleans East and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Both areas have been devastated.

New Orleans search and rescue teams initial request for body bags was 10,000. In the 9th Ward of New Orleans where I used to reside, rescuers in boats are having to push floating bodies aside to reach the few that are still alive. A search and rescue worker has said that 37,000 body bags have been requested in South Louisiana.

I do not know how many body bags have been brought into South Mississippi, but hundreds, regretfully maybe more than a thousand, of our citizens who refused the evacuation order and chose to ride out Hurricane "Katrina" are dead. Mississippi rescuers are also passing up dead people to reach the living.

And amidst the destruction and human misery are a few who are looting. In one incident, looters were discovered stepping over the five dead bodies of an entire family to steal what they could carry out of the family's home. There is no explaining some people's inhumanity.

I have covered every hurricane since "Audrey" in 1957, including "Betsy" in 1965 and "Camille" in 1969, through this one, and "Katrina" is by far the worst.

This is the most deadly and costly natural disaster in the history of the United States of America.

Please...pray for New Orleans, a drowned and dead city...South Louisiana...and South Mississippi.

May God bless and have mercy!

Totally Free NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY Complete Apr 25, 2005 1:42 pm

It has taken 71 years to complete the Natchez Trace Parkway, the historic scenic two-lane hard-surface road between Natchez, Mississippi, and Nashville, Tennessee, in the USA. The final 16 miles are finished.

The Trace began as a trail traveled by wild animals and American Indians almost 8,000 years ago, and the Old Trace was used by Spanish explorers, British troops, Southern settlers and Northern traders. Stretches of the Old Trace still exist, easily accessible on foot, bicycle and horse.

The Natchez Trace Parkway was created by the U. S. Congress in 1938.

Today the toll-free Natchez Trace Parkway is a U. S. National Scenic Byway and an All-American Road. The Trace is the most used commemorative parkway in the USA's National Park System with visitors from around the world.

I enjoy cruising The Trace. I love seeing the deer, turkeys and other animals and birds, as well as the beautiful flowers and vegetation. It is always fun and very relaxing. But do be careful. Watch out for the deer.
