Hello out there. I've been gone for over three months...blogging elsewhere, taking a break.

I just wanted to see who was still on here, say hi, just snoop around a little!

As for me, in case you're wondering, I'm good!

I'm working seven days in a row this week. Okay, I'm sure there are people that have to do that all the time, but not me. I usually put in my five days and then I'm done for the week. I live for my weekends! Well, no time off for me this weekend...I have to stay in the city and work for 8 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday. Not only that, Saturday night I am being forced to go to dinner with the people who are coming in for a meeting this weekend, so it's more like a 10 or 11 hour day on Saturday. The only good part is they are putting me up at a really nice hotel and EL is coming down to stay with me tonight. We'll get some dinner, go see his friend's band and then get to sleep in a cozy king size bed tonight. That will be fun, even though I have to wake up at like six and he can sleep in til whenever!

So, it will be crap to have to work, but at least I'll have some fun!!

Did I really just write a blog yesterday about what a great weekend we had????????

I can't even get into it all right now. I feel sort of numb, I'm not really upset yet, but I just got broken up with via e-mail. That is almost as bad as when Carrie on \bsexo?\b & the City got broken up with via post-it. WTF!!??

I'm stopping by his place tonight to get my key. I told him to just hang it on the door handle in a bag.

So, for all of you who told me it wouldn't last, you can now say your, "I told you so's"...you were right...

Great timing, huh? Right before the holidays and all...geesh...

I had a great weekend with EL. We were both off on Friday. I spent the morning lazing around before working out for 45 minutes. He came over around 1, we went to lunch. When we first got to the restaurant, he grabbed my hand, pulled it across the table and kissed it. Right as he was kissing it, the waitress walked up. She said that was the sweetest thing she had seen in a long time.

After lunch we went to a movie. We saw Borat. There were only three other people in the theatre, so we were able to make out a little bit and not be seen. The movie was funny...a bit gross, but funny. After the movie we ran errands, went back to my place for an hour of unmentionable fun, then we went to dinner. We tried a new restaurant in town. We shared some shrimp and pasta and had a couple of drinks.

After dinner, we came back to my place, played Scrabble, had some more drinks and went to bed around 1.

The next morning, we woke up early, had another hour of fun. He went back to sleep, I couldn't, so I went to the store and got some eggs, picked up some coffee for him at Starbuck's, filled his tank with gas. I got home and made an apple cake and some fresh squeezed orange juice. He woke up around 11, we had breakfast and hung out until 1 or so.

We only spent a couple of hours apart that day, and that was to get ready to go to his parent's house for his brother's birthday dinner. It was a really nice evening. We had some really good food, I met his brother's girlfriend and found out that she rides the same train as me from the city every day. She actually looked familiar too. After dinner, we sat around with his family, just talking and laughing.

That night we spent the night at his place. I didn't feel well when I woke up in the morning, so I left early. I think it was good though, because I'm sure by that point, we needed some time alone.

Yesterday I did a lot of laundry, made some really good meals, read magazines, finished a book, watched some TV, cleaned up my room and ironed a bunch on clothes. I guess I was sort of productive.

Well, that was my weekend. How was yours?

The temps have been in the 50's & 60's (okay, not exactly summer like) here for the past week. Well, that is coming to an end today with rain first, then a wintry mix, and then snow...uggh!

Not looking forward to the start of winter at all. It is by far my least favorite season. After Christmas, what is there to look forward to??

Okay, that's all I have to say about that!

I just got some pictures back today and one of them was me at a Chicago White Sox game back in September. I was still so tan! Wahhhh!!!

I only work until 2 today! Yippee!! Anyone else get out early today? I think I am going out with my friends tonight. I'm looking forward to it. I'm not sure if EL is going or not, but I don't really care. I've seen so much of him lately and I haven't seen my friends in months!

Well, I went to the dentist. He filled in my tooth (no root canal or crown I'm happy to report) and now my tooth feels normal.. Almost like it never even cracked!!! Nice! I have to go back to get more fillings, but he said this was the worst one, so the others shouldn't be as bad or take as long.

The wedding was really nice on Saturday. EL was late picking me up and then he was rushing me. I said something about how it wouldn't be my fault if we were late and he got pissed and we didn't talk the entire way to the wedding (for an hour and yes, we were late). We made up though after the wedding and had a really good time. The reception was at Maggiano's (really nice Italian restaurant) and the food was amazing and we had fun dancing and hanging out. We slept in yesterday, then had brunch at the hotel before coming back to my place and being lazy the rest of the day.

I'm just excited that we have a short week this week, and my favorite holiday is on Thursday! Thanksgiving is so much better than Christmas as far as holidays go. You get together with family, have lots of good food, but you don't have the stress of all the shopping and decorating and card sending and money spending. Call me Scrooge, but I'm just not going to get into all that this year.

I only have to work a half day today, then I'm off to the dentist. I'm not that nervous yet. I'm sure I will be once I get there. I guess there is no reason to get nervous...I have to get my tooth fixed, there is no way around it, so this is what I have to do.

Tonight I am going shopping with EL. We are going to look for an outfit for him to wear to the wedding tomorrow. He doesn't have any long sleeve dress shirts or nice dress pants or ties, so that is our mission tonight! I already have a dress. I just want to find a wrap or a sweater to wear over it.

Tomorrow will be a full day...the wedding is at one, then we check into our hotel, then the reception is at six. I'm sure it will be a late night and I'll be cashed all day Sunday! But it will be fun to spend the night with EL in a hotel. It will be our first time in a hotel together...how fun!

Wish me luck at the dentist!!!
