The things we endure and overcome in life are not horrible, it's people
who make it seem horrible...
yet if we stick with Jesus we find joy in the midst of terrible adversity...
the ability to laugh, love, smile and still be kind to others despite the
afflictions we are suffering is a beautiful gift from God!

So many blows from the enemy's swarm
Yet amidst the attempts of them trying to destroy
Miracles appear as victory they employ
And though there is so much dark in some
Sometimes justice finally does come

I'M WORTHY OF GOD'S BEST
IN HIM I'M GIVEN FREEDOM
BY HIM I HAVE BEEN BLESSED
I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT NOTHING
OF WHO I AM IN HE
YET SOMEHOW IN HUMILITY
I KNOW THAT HE LOVES ME
I HAVE DECIDED
AFTER BEING LEAST TO ALL
JUST AS GOD'S WORD HAS PROMISED
IN HIM I WILL STAND TALL
NONE WILL EVER SHAME ME
CAUSE I HAVE SHAMED MYSELF
CARRYING THEIR BURDENS
PLACING THEM BEFORE MYSELF
BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR ME
TO SEE MY GOD'S TRUE LOVE

You find out
When grief permeates your life
If your heart is aching
When the money is all gone
You've nothing left to give them
No handouts in sight
The ones you carried willingly
Take their selfish flight
But when the dust settles
And you can see again
This time look to Jesus
He is your only friend
They say love, love
Help they often claim
Patting themselves on the back
For lifting you up then bringing shame
But when their heart is exposed
For what it truly is
You will find just cruelty
Underneath false bliss
Life is just a trial
Meant to overcome
Brief moments of real beauty
Sometimes they do come
Yet when the clouds are heavy
No love for you from them inside
Just cleave unto Jesus
He will melt the pride
Even when you're bleeding
From each and every scar
He will carry you with love
He'll bring you through the fire
So take a good look at the ones you know
Who say they are your friend
Cause when the times get hard for you
Most friendships will end
The only stay in truth I know
Is my love Jesus Christ

In the name of Love people do much harm
Kill, steal, destroy, cause false alarm
In the same name of love some people lie
Living in deception making others cry
In the name of love people reject
Abandoning the hard times, caring they neglect
In the name of love people rail and accuse
Sometimes they wound you giving abuse
In the name of love the broken are speared
Only tears of blood can seep inside where it seared
In the name of love the selfish take their fill
Taking from the meek and lowly willingly they steal
In the name of love the rights have been given wrong
Where nothing seems to matter, the simplest love from a song
In the name of love I've seen God in the purest form
Picking up the pieces that were left tattered and torn
His love pours out to fill the wounds of the heart
Bringing light to darkness, freshness to the start
So when you are down trodden, knowing they can't care less
Just remember Jesus, HIS love stands the test
It is unfailing beauty, only truth & peace doth give
And if you feel like dying, he'll help you want to live
In the name of love many things are done wrong to me & you
But the truth is God is love and He's always there for you
