My sleeve it tired, so I think I'll take my brand-spanking new pair of blue jeans out for a twirl tonight. That way I can leave my sleeve at home and wander heartlessly through the murky masses. Well, admittedly I'll be dancing through but who is really reading this anyway, eh?

Eh?

I'm reading it, and slightly confusticated, but that can happen if you spend a good part of the afternoon and evening with the people I work with, as I did.

Did your sleeve mind having to stay home? Enquiring minds want to know.

Dance the night away, and those of us who read this want a full report. Unless you're too tired.

Either way, have fun.

Cheers!

I woke at 5 again with the golden one dancing on my face - an avoidable, although not unpleasant consequence of not closing the curtains when I go to bed.

Ps, I hope you drank plenty of water.

Coincidentally I have been wearing my sleeveless shirt whole day today, so your first sentence sounds especially lovely.

Am curious about the performance of that "new pair of blue jeans" in your dancing.

Have fun!

Hi, I like your new pic.

Well...just sleeveless is all.
I braved it and wore a tank top,
which I never do. But I really wish
I had worn shorts. Felt like I had
lead weights around my legs by the
end of the night. I just HAD to
wear my new jeans, though.

Didn't need that last glass of merlot, though.

I had so much fun! My friend's band plays Dylan, Neil Young, The Dead (of course) etc. - all my favorites. I always stake my special 'spot' where I can dance, dance, dance and make silly faces at the band. And they have this terrific deck out back which was so needed as I was dying of heat in my new jeans.

But at least I looked cool. heh.

Just rolled out of bed a bit ago. Phew. But I feel pretty ok today. My legs are tired, though.

Hope your Monday is smooth.

By about 1 am I realized that jeans expand when you sweat.

It's been so hot here...what was I thinking?

Hey now, Dylan, Neil Young and the Dead - three of my favorites. I had just about given up hope of finding any Deadheads here in bloggsville. So I'm happy to make your acquittance.

What Dead songs does your friend's band play? Yesterday I was listening to Jerry's bluegrass band, "Old And In The Way". I just love it!

The things we do to look good. I always feel like a girly girl when I wear my heels and try and smile all night when it's obvious those shoes hurt my feet.

Also, I love places with a patio. Most going out conversations at the beginning of the night start with "Where you wanna go?" then "I don't care. Anywhere with a patio." It's one of the factors in determining if a venue is hot. 1) Patio scene 2) drink prices 3) band.

Cheers!

Hey now, I know what you mean. Not too many aging hippies around here. So glad you stopped by...oh my gosh, my daughter is counting seconds 'til we leave for the store. Gotta run.

BTW Dylan's my favorite Mr. Tamborine Man.

I like Neil's voice and the Dead's music. But, of course, the greatest songwriter is Dylan.

It's hard to narrow it down. But if I had to pick a favorite song by each. It would be Young's "Helpless", "Box Of Rain" by the Dead and Dylan's "Visions Of Johanna".

What are some of your favorites?

Well, I've never cared for Bobby, so don't much like "Box of Rain" (sorry). My favorite Dead song is "Uncle John's Band," Dylan - "Mr. Tamborine Man" and not sure about Neil Young. I'll have to get back to you. Maybe I'm more of a CSN&Y gal.
