Quit smoking, that is...
(you naughty!)

Sign up here. No promises,
just the desire to try.
I'm starting right now.
I'll let you know...

I feel like crap, had pneumonia
last fall and can feel that
same ole congestion
burbling up again.
So now is the time.

Anyone?

Anyone?

I quit during a bout of influenza about 24 years ago. I tossed the cigarettes, tobacco and my entire collection of pipes. I don't regret it.

Yep, I'm naughty.

Toneboney tried this one, not sure how it worked out

I stopped smoking once using a book called, 'Stop Smoking in five days. It's a really good book and it worked. I had to force myself to smoke again

I wish I could get that book again I wonder if the person I lent it to quit

Treat me with respect and I'll treat you the same

You are 20 tears too late! I quit in 1988 but started again in 1996. Have you tried the Chantix? I tried it last winter but it just made me irratable. OK. Gotta go light one up...

Smokes were pressing the $12 mark when I quit a year ago. I would love to say I feel better, but well we know that is a lie...lmao. However here are some truths of the matter, I look better, smell better, sex is better, food tastes awesome, my libido is higher than high...did I mention that I like sex now that I quit smoking? Oh and by the way, getting laid is like A M A Z I N G now that I don't smoke.

K hope that cryptic message is not too cryptic for ya.

I quit from March to May, then had a bit of a relapse. I didn't buy a pack today, so when the one I've got open is out, I'll be done.

That means 10 to go. So the fact I'm going to go have one after I post this comment will have me down to 9. Then no more. Ohhh, all that extra money!

I do feel a tiny bit sorry for everyone I talk to Monday through about Thursday. I'm always a bit of a jerk when I quit smoking.

And yeah, Soul. We're bad! I come home from a run, wait an hour and then smoke a cigarette. How weird is that?

Cheers!

The only smoking I do today is from the passive-smokers..I used to smoke..Would not call me a heavy smoker back then as it took me a week before the park was done..When I got pregnant I smoked my last three cigarettes in one night and never picked up one again. It is going on 4 and half years now,I don't miss it nor do I need it..
It is not an easy task to stop smoking if you have been doing it for years..It takes a strong will and lots of support from friends to help you through..So far I see you have the support from friends now it is your strong will to come forth and just do it.I join them in cheering you on to a smoke free life..Best of luck.

You quit smoking, I quit blogging about coochie waxing.

Deal?

I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.

Heyyy !! Just can't believe --- I really found a proper medicine against my chocolate attaks ! Maybe it's also good against other "drugs".
Maybe it's only known in the german place because scientists got soo much money to investigate in this common field of complex matter of human metabolism.
Maybe the infos is at the time a absolute secret and was actually not spread all over the "suffering" people, cause the pharmacological testings are not finished yet. Why I'm informed is, because I was one member of the human test crew who hat to use it for 8 weeks 5 times a day under extreme medical control.
It's hard to believe, but the substance can be purchased relatively easy in Germany. After the testperiod I was really healed of my heavy chocolate attacks... are you all curious now about the new panacea ????
I will share the absolute secret with you, but pleeeeeeeese don't tell it around !!!!
They sell it under the name

To stop smoking completely, you have to start cutting down a stick a day gradually.... and you MUST have a reason why you wanted to quit. It's a motivation for you to stop smoking. The reasons can be many things.... you love ur kids etc... and don't want them to follow your example etc....

And you must be strong willed or else your effort go to waste.

If you have the urge to smoke, try chewing gums or sweets instead. If you can't control it, then have a stick and start all over again... until you succeed... it depends on YOU and YOU alone to decide...

Really, really good advice...especially about motivation.
And I know it. I do. It's just so difficult.

But I will succeed!

I know I'm late, as usual. But I know it's Never too late to stop smoking. I was a heavy smokers (if you call 2 packs a day heavy ) Had to give it up because it nearly killed me. It's those cheap ciggies that did it. Was trying to safe a few bucks and ended up coughing like mad. You know what poison they put in that tobacco mix?

I'm glad I gave it up as my home smells nice and fresh now. And I don't have to shampoo my hair every day. Not to mention the money I safe.

Keep it up dear. I know it's easier said than done, but I know you can do it

It's nice to be insane when No one is looking
