Gower, gower, gower, now as we know there is no such thing as angels, so how could one be fallen? and even if there was, i wouldn't let you carry me away.

I like fields and I'm fed up with mountains.

I lust after the flat lands of Norfolk.

Can you flat mate fit me in for a session, or six.

I'm probably due for some professional help.

To the land of imaginary,
you rightfully belong:
where green pastures, rivers
and mountains reach,
whispering winds
where silence is unfolded.

I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me!

It's a metaphor, innit? Representing a past life of arrogance, pride and failure. In spite of all that, new starts can still be made.

Just because religion is a social construct doesn't mean that we have to throw away centuries of literary imagery.

Anyway, I live on my own. So you'll have to find a professional that speaks Canadian.

Argh...looking up that eisegesis word took me to a Creationist website. I can't believe the pseudo-science these people are peddling. They claim that humans and dinosaurs co-existed, list a few supposed "sightings" (I'm surprised they didn't include the Loch Ness Monster), and then went on to say that "if this were true, it would deal a serious blow to evolutionary thinking". So it's not true then? Make up your flippin' minds!

hmmm... looking up eisegesis led me to a wikipedia definition:

Eisegesis (from the Greek root εις, meaning into, in, among) is the process of misinterpreting a text in such a way that it introduces one's own ideas, reading into the text.
yes... found that creationist website:

Eisegesis is the approach to Bible interpretation where the interpreter tries to "force" the Bible to mean something that fits their existing belief or understanding of a particular issue or doctrine. People who interpret the Bible this way are usually not willing to let the Bible speak for itself and let the chips fall where they may. They start off with the up-front goal of trying to prove a point they already believe in, and everything they read and interpret is filtered through that paradigm. Stated another way, they engage in what the Bible refers to as "private interpretation".
