 She dressed in red! Seems in high spirits. Is the design on her weskit traditional one?

Things are the same in China. If an important official is to visit some place, people there will be asked to make thorough preparations and will be told what they can say, what can't.

I'm glad that she left earlier so as not to further "disturb" you.

Do you work as a journalist? My impression is that you live in the Mindanao region. But I'm not sure where. If you live in a small town then I guess it is not Davao that you live in.

Congrats on making it through your presidential visit. You can finally relax now.

The design is traditional in the Mindanao region, Agnes.
When she arrived, she hasn't that vest worn yet. And i guess, the same protocol is observed everywhere else when a head of state visits a certain place.

I think so, too. Perhaps, it wouldn't ruin the President's diet that much. FYI, the taster ate a durian-flavored biscuits that we imported from Malaysia (most of our goodies here came from that country), and she particularly asked me to put more biscuits on the plate as the President may like to eat them. Here's more, the taster even bought that biscuits to bring along when they go back to manila.

I live in the southernmost part of Mindanao, Chris, and this is indeed a small dot in the Philippine map. But i like it here, no traffic hassles and basic needs are accessible and cheap. lol.

I'm not really your typical kind of journalist, no. But believe me, i've always wanted to be that when i was younger.
