I would be interested to read more about some of the places you have visited in the Philippines. Of course, I know of Cebu, Davao, Boracay and the better known sites. But not much of lesser known destinations. It is these off the tourist track places where travelling can be at its most authentic and memorable.
What countries abroad would you like to visit? I'm sure one day your travel dreams will come true.

The places you mentioned are of the "better known" sites in our country. They've become metropolitan saved for Boracay as it is known for an ultimate summer vacation for local and expats alike.
I always find my land trips in Northern Mindanao and Central and Northern Luzon memorable. I like land trips because it gives me a feeling that i am more in-touched with nature. Travelling along the plains and fields of Northern Mindanao provided me a great view of the green rice farms, corn fields, banana plantation and the widest pineapple farm in the country maintained by a multinational company producing pineapple finish products. It is perhaps the beauty of landscapes in these areas which drawn me to cherish my trips to these parts.
I have also gone to "tabboo" places in media parlance owing to their supposedly terrorists-haven label. When you're round these parts, you'll find out it's not as bad as it seems as it is on TV or the internet. There are no terrorists hounding you. Only flora and fauna still waiting to be discovered. And hospitable locals to accomodate you.

Do you still need half of the birthmark, Michael? You've already traveled to more places, I reckoned. That's why you're rarely with us here
that's a lovely new pic. Take care, friend.

Scary... yes, especially when you're alone and it's your first time in that city.
But, you'll find out there's always somebody to befriend along the way and help make your stay wonderful and memorable.

I’m sure you’ll travel abroad AT LEAST ONCE in your lifetime.
I started travelling abroad when I wasn’t even allowed to sign my own passport yet.

So do i.. When I'm the baby my parents are force me to do this and that, Don't Do this and Don't do that also. In their eyes I am always the baby. many times i also think like why i can't do like that people. Why that people their parents is so great? allow them what ever they prefer. Why my parents are not? So i have not much friends. that like to go out with hanging with or ect. because never join them. It's not all because of my parents. But i usually not go. Then when they let me. I still not want to
After i got scholarship to be exchange's student in New Zealand. they were great they let me go. And after i come back .I show them that i can take care of myself. Then they let me free. Because they not need to worry about this daughter any more. She is an adult now

Hmmmmm....I've got a birthmark on my right foot, but I didn't know that it signified an inability to stay in one place for very long.
Having said that, I'm unable to stay in one place for very long.
Off to Italy tomorrow, see you when I get back

That is soooo mean, GB.
And to think, I've always wanted to go to Europe. I'm fascinated with the fusion of something "ancient" and "modern."
Hey, you ought to google "Edu Manzano." He's our local celebrity here and i think Munch and the rest would agree that you look so much like him in that coverboy pic.

Yravel is the most wonderful thing. I have always travelled and I just love seeing new countries and experiencing life with the people in their own environment. Europe is one place I haven't been and I so desperately want to visit there. Maybe one day
Hope you get to go away again soon

Wow, I'm never going to be mean to you again. You really know how to get your own back.
I googled Eddy Appletree, and if I have ever looked anything like he does on the cover of that World's Greatest Dance Steps album, then I apologise unreservedly.

I haven't traveled as much as I would like to. My half-brother, who is 15, is already a world traveller. I'm really jealous!
If you can't convince them, confuse them!

First and foremost, congratulations for winning that gold ball, FF. I did vote for you and GB.
So anyways, nothing compares to traveling to a foreign land, where you should learn to live their ways of life, and learn about the people.
we will get to go away soon.

Don't be silly, coverboy. You look far different from that cover of the dance steps album where he is dressed bizaare with a bighead Google for more pix of him, come on.

WORK HARDER AND AIM HIGH TO MAKE IT THERE. SET YOUR GOALS. TO TRAVEL THE WORLD IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING TO DO FOR YOURSELF. YOU WILL EXPERIENCE SO MUCH MORE AND OPEN UP YOUR MIND TO DIFFERENT CULTURE AND PEOPLE OUT THERE. I AM HALF WAY THROUGH IT, I LOVE IT AND I WILL MAKE IT AROUND THE WORLD IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS. JUST TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU'RE READY, MAYBE I CAN GUIDE YOU TO MAKE IT MORE ENJOYABLE AND LESS EXPENSIVE.

Wow. That's impressive and exciting, Exotic! You must have had a very memorable experience in all of your trips. But like you said, we have to work harder to achieve that dream. We all know that financial resources and the lack of it can be the biggest obstacle in attaining that. lol i love your thoughts. thank you.
