Winds of Change

Wow..has it been that long since I last wrote a blog? I must have been on a low calorie, blog-free diet.

Have you ever made a positive step in one direction, and the winds of change kept sweeping you along?

I wanted to make some changes in my life, for the better, and the positive energy keeps rolling along, and things seem to fall into place. Well some things need a push and a nudge (maybe a kick) to fall into perspective..but I am not above that.

To get the ball rolling..I decided to get Fit!!

I joined a gym so my and I could exercise and swim...Winters are long and snowy here....so it will give us something to do.

From that, I joined a group of people who are doing the same thing. We call it the Great Winter Meltdown.

From that, I joined a Yoga class...omg..I love it.

I have a knee brace that I can use, until my knee heals..and I am managing quite well...a bit of pain...but I let my body do the talking..so I don't over due.

But the point of the whole thing..is I Feel Great!!!

I was at a very low point in my life...and after a few days (err...maybe weeks)of pity, I realized...I need to shake it off and take action. The world wasn't going to change for me.
Every day, I have been making small changes..positive changes..and the results are through out my whole self. Not only do I feel good...but I have lost 8 lbs, and went down 2 pant sizes..in just 2 weeks. AND the endorphyns from exercise...I have missed that...
(eek gad..that sounded like a diet commercial)

It feels good to take the reins..and have control of my life...

Wee

You go, L! What I love about working out is that it makes you feel strong, and yes, in control.

I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.
