Well, I went to the dentist. He filled in my tooth (no root canal or crown I'm happy to report) and now my tooth feels normal.. Almost like it never even cracked!!! Nice! I have to go back to get more fillings, but he said this was the worst one, so the others shouldn't be as bad or take as long. The wedding was really nice on Saturday. EL was late picking me up and then he was rushing me. I said something about how it wouldn't be my fault if we were late and he got pissed and we didn't talk the entire way to the wedding (for an hour and yes, we were late). We made up though after the wedding and had a really good time. The reception was at Maggiano's (really nice Italian restaurant) and the food was amazing and we had fun dancing and hanging out. We slept in yesterday, then had brunch at the hotel before coming back to my place and being lazy the rest of the day. I'm just excited that we have a short week this week, and my favorite holiday is on Thursday! Thanksgiving is so much better than Christmas as far as holidays go. You get together with family, have lots of good food, but you don't have the stress of all the shopping and decorating and card sending and money spending. Call me Scrooge, but I'm just not going to get into all that this year. |

It was always the family dinners that were so stressful for me. Christmas presents were always the distraction from the stress. My favorite was always Halloween - not the candy, but the fun, decorating, costumes. Just being weird. Loved it. Oh, very happy for you that your dental problem wasn't as bad as you thought. Sanity and normalcy are over-rated

Glad the dentist visit wasn't that bad! Such a relief I bet!!!  I hear ya about Thanksgiving, but I am a decorator so Xmas is fun! And I like all the present giving and what not, I just do it WAY before Xmas. I am almost done already...no headaches whatsoever. Granted, I am hosting Xmas tho!  Cindy AKA "RushPrincess"

I agree totally with you...Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it's about getting together with loved ones and eating good food...Christmas just gets on my nerves. Enjoy, Funny. You guys (you & E will get it together, I think...
