I'm still kickin' around (sometimes)

Just a couple thoughts to share today. I've survived yet ANOTHER year. Yep--32 today

My would have you believe I was 80-something (if you asked).

I meant to drop by recently, but other things took priority. FF has been a fantastic place to come to--for a sounding board. A great place to celebrate when I've been happy, find supportive friends with kind, understanding words when I've been sad--and ANYWHERE in between.

Lately, I've just been grateful for those who've taken the time to listen and respond. When I first came here, I was an emotional basket case. Mostly resulting from my (then) pending divorce.

Since that time--I've realized I've met some fantastic people that I wouldn't have otherwise met, had I remained married. I've had new doors open. It's ALL good!

So, in closing, for any of you struggling with rough times, keep your chin up and keep the optimism close at hand. Things could ALWAYS be worse--be grateful for what you DO have!
