Hi Dani...I am new to the blogs...well I am new to FF altogether. I have read a number of posts...and yours have been really interesting. Now to why I am commenting on the hair cutting question, this past March I had what was the worst "bad hair day" I have ever encountered...lol....whilst watching Dr. Phil I decided I should give myself a lil trim...and the whole thing went south from there. I mean the hair cut. Long and short of it...the long hair hit the floor, as I had a melt down and pulled out the clippers...and shaved my head. Mind you it was really freeing to have no hair for a while...I felt nekked...lol.. Just from your picture you appear to be very lovely...and your hair is one of the first things I noticed. Ok, Call me stupid, but..... Oh Dani, you are a beautiful soul, inside and out! I know that women need and desire change in their lives to keep it exciting and fresh. You have the face of an angel, so with short hair or long it is your God given beauty that will shine no matter what!!! I voted no, only because I dream of running my hands through those lovely locks, as many do here on FF. I am selfish that way. However, if you think for one minute that any other guy would not enjoy the focusing of their attentions upon that beautiful face alone, you would be SOOOOO mistaken. Dani, I cannot think of a single man that wouldn't love your appearance in either case. Lust is such an powerful thing! And I mean that sincerely. So whatever you choose to do, we will still be enthralled with your beauty, inside and out Bill

In my opinion, so long as your effervescent smile is visible--it wont matter what you choose. HOWEVER, unless you are going for shock value, I would not cut it off all at once. Do it gradually, if you must.

Everyone should cut their hair really short at least once in their life. I did it and I looked ridiculous, head like some kind of mutant peanut. Still don't know why I did it the second time, just never learn I suppose. If you don't like it you can always wear hats.

Now that would not be any fun if we told you what to do and You actually listened to us. How do you feel about cutting your hair short? I would like you to decide on that matter-you look cute no matter what your hair length is or color. Now that is a thing to ponder on color. If you are not sure start out by going mid-way and then decide the next time whether you should go shorter. I have been debating the shorter hair style for years, but never get the nerve to go shorter. Hope you have a good few days off, renew your spirit. Take care Sylvia

Nia, I went to the hairdresser one day when my hair was just past my shoulders. I told him I wanted it all cut off short. His expression was stunned and then he said are you sure. I said yes. So he cut it short for me. Afterwards he said it did look good. I said thank you and then said I have been changing from short to long most of my life and that I can wear either. It depends on my job (short is ideal in a kitchen especially if I have to wear a hat). Long is great if I want to change hairstyles, currently long enough to wear in a pony tail. My problem at present is that the main colour is golden blond, the roots are platinum (not grey, definately not grey) so I have to keep getting them touched up. I am sure you can never be boring

They say it's only a few weeks between a bad haircut and a good one! 'spose that depends on how quick it grows..... I've had short hair ever since the first crew cut I received in the Army years ago. I'm not fond of crew cuts, but my hair is still short. A month after each haircut I look in the mirror and feel like crusty the clown. I might like to have longer hair but I hate the in-between stage. In the end you have to be happy with yourself. But I guess that I can only put my hair in one style!!! love yourself first......

I am not doing too bad, have been experiencing all kinds of good things since the move. Still trying to organize all my stuff, not finished yet. Everyday is a new day and all ways room for another job to do. I have been dating again, and so I have a hard time finding time for the on line stuff. Taking it for all that it is worth-one day at a time. It is all about having fun and feeling blessed for everyday. Don't forget to smile. Take care Sylvia

nia, my preference is to keep it long but I thought that IRELAND's response was great! Keep it long. jiffybob?
