OK. I heard that some truck stops have these hook-ups now that provide AC/heat, electricity, and internet access for trucks so they do not have to idle any more. Have YOU been to any of these truck stops and tried it yet? Do you have an eithernet card? How often do you blog online while you are on the road?

hi raoul

yes i have seen them, no i never used them because we are not at the truck stop long enough to hook up to them.

here in california i believe its a 7 dollar hook up fee, then pay as you use it for what ever, movies internet and so on.

when i am on the road either my time is driving or shooting the breeze with my cousin. sleeping when i cant keep my eyes open anymore.

i have a laptop but we don't have the converter so i don't take it with me. truthfully we hardly stop and if we do its for fuel. destination and return is where your making money.

helping my cousin is why i did it. also to get out of the house as i was getting back the weight i had lost it was a win win for us both. trucking is a hard life especially when you are alone having someone to talk with makes time fly. if its a family member and hes like your older brother then my blessings are a thousand times. his son my nephew drives too for the same company. he told me its his turn when i go back i have to ride with him i cant wait my nephew is a great guy. he loves his family and gives me so much respect being around him is always fun most of his runs are up north idaho utah wyoming montana oregon washington. yippeeeeeeeee!! the south was getting to hot, arizona new mexico texas nevada, las vegas.

i love trucking raoul its in my blood. seeing so many things besides a tv is great!

have a great week and weekend coming raoul.

Yeah, gotta make that green. Its good to find a trucking company that will help you get around that 10 hour rule. And its absolutely superb that you got family to keep you company. My cousins have not spoken to me in 20 years. But my nephews are cool.

yeah...those hook-ups cost an arm and a leg. And hard to find a signal with a router on the road.
