There are many more serial killers to consider...more canibals and mutilators and necrophiles and worse. There was the woman in the 16th century who used to kill young girls and bathe in their blood. There was Vlad the impaler who took pleasure in torturing his victims. Ancient Rome and Greece were filled with serial killers as were ancient Peru Incan, Mexican Aztec and Myan civilixations. Contemporary times are equally bloody in just about every country in the world. Communist Russia had a prolific serial killer. A Woman's from the BACK !

Hitler - more than 100 million people in 7 years while he was claiming to be God. Allthough I know it could be argued he wasn't a serial killer but, I think he was. His method though was to obtain power first and then kill later by command! We have to be ever vigilant in the world that we don't allow this kind of man or woman to get power ever again. I know a movie Hanibal yeah its Jack the ripper.. He is dangerous killer in movie  Somewhere some1 dream of your smile & find your presence in life so worthwhile.

Hitler - more than 100 million people in 7 years while he was claiming to be God. Allthough I know it could be argued he wasn't a serial killer but, I think he was. nope it was me, ive got them things in every room, loads of tins of fly spray, them mosey candles ouside i kill millions each day or it could be the cats, there is no mouses left they have started on the lizards and snakes

And not even European one... comparing him to Hitler or Lenin... eh.... at least he has a great legend builded up and brings quite good money into our turism  Never heared about the ones you added but boyyyyyyyyyy doesnt look that during communism stopped celebrating its heros capitalism society was more quiet..... Danny Rolling? grrrrrrr aint his name wonderful? The most terrible one.... starting with the first murder all of them are terrible... dunno actualy if you can consider a criminal more " terrible" then another.... I can't remember the name of this one.He lured his victims to his house(young boys)had intercourse with them, then later killed,cooked and eat the body part..yurk!!!.He was eventually caught when one of the boys got away and run on the street screaming for help,or was he sent back into the hands of this evil man ..Any way he was caught and I believe it later said in the news he was killed by the inmates from the prison. Oh baltimr,you sure know how to get some ones  pumping and theirstands at edge with this topic...It brings out in me the angry of how such things could be so ahhhhhhhh..I'm off to simmer down.It is the truth in man that sets him free..

Joseph Stalin was doing the same thing at the same time, but Pol Pot eclipsed both of them in the 1970's in Cambodia. and Stalin finished it. Stalin was really just playing into hitlers hands and if it wasn't for the Americans Stalin would have easily lost. As for Pol Pot and the cambodian genocides I think you mean he gave both of them a run for their money. Not that I wish to glorify any of them and their psychopathic works but, I'm just saying, there sure are some wierd and crazy ways of being a serial/mass murderer in the world. I think without Divine Grace we are often exremly affraid of it. Like some psychopath is gonna get the last laugh in the end. WE focus on it too much and even our own family and friends become suspect. Not that we shouldn't give this subject attention ever because we should but, if it wasn't for the bravery of Americans and there ideology to defend rights and freedoms I think we'd all be dead or slaves by dictators and stupid bully tactic violence and obsession with human depravity, which is nuts. PS: not that it matters but i think the japanese committed more mass executions than all of them in China both before and during WWII. I don't know the numbers but i'm sure it was over 20 million which eclipses them all but that was more a national effort than it was at the whim of a dictator. OK. Emperor Hirohito. Maybe HE is the ultimate winner...so far. the Japanese Imperialist parliament deposed him of his power because he did not support going to war with America and the mass Executions occurred in China mostly as a means to use propaganda against the Americans & Chinese and cause disunity in the alliance at the hands of a bureacracy that did not take it's cues from Hirohito usually. They were half democratic, half imperialist but once they deposed Hirohito they became plutocracy of psychopathic tyrants hell bent on empire. Hirohito was just lucky to be allowed to live. So, legislative and bureaucratic people can become collectively psychopathic from wrong ideology and kill or terrorize for empire expansion both before and after a coup de etat. Oh ya there was one other guy I thought I should mention as far as independent serial killers go and thats Robert Pickton. recent.
