5 Things I love about Arkansas? What a topic... 1. The Crystal Mines 2. From where I live in Arkansas, it is only a 2 1/2 hour drive to all states that border us. 3. The Waterfalls 4. The Mountains 5. Hot Springs Man.. that was hard.. next time try going a little bit easier on me ok? "If it doesn't hurt anyone else and makes you happy, then make it happen."

I truly have no idea what is going on !!!! ( I never watch the news ... not even for the weather reports !!! ) All I know is this .... I am 40 years old, and I can remember having colder winters ( It has snowed in SE Texas 4 times in my lifetime ) but I have never known it to be 61 degrees in the am in June !!!!!! Maybe it's a Florida thing ???? I'll have to get with some of the 'locals' on that !!!!!!

Your TOPIC: What place in the world has the most perfect climate and why? I haven't visited that many places, nor do I know any places specific weather. However, AZ in the winter has beautiful days where it's 70 degrees, no humidity and just perfect. Loved it when I was there and I miss it very much! Cindy AKA "RushPrincess"

Your TOPIC: Imagine you are in Spain and you go to the market to purchase a rabbit. It’s a Saturday morning. The sun is hitting your head just slightly too hard as you walk down the street. Friday night only ended a few hours ago, but you promised you’d make your friends a paella this afternoon, so you’d better get down the market and buy the ingredients. You stop for a coffee and a cigarette. Bad idea. Now your heart’s pounding and your lungs feel as if they’re going to collapse, but you do feel a little more awake. You enter the market and are assaulted by the sights and sounds and smells of real life. This is no supermarket, this is food in the raw. A riot of fruit and vegetables clamours for your attention. You pick out some ripe tomatoes, wide green beans, lima beans and a large red pepper for the paella. Next you negotiate the fish stalls, whole tuna gape and crabs and lobsters wave at your passing. Nothing to buy here, this is going to be a traditional paella, no fish or prawns involved. A quick stop for saffron, ground paprika and rice at the general grocer’s, fresh bread at the baker’s and then on to the butcher’s. Shouts, handshakes and friendly insults to begin, then an argument over who’s going to pay for the beer. They’ve been working since six this morning, they’re thirsty, and no matter how bad your hangover you have to join in. Customers mill about, somebody produces some slices of chorizo and cheese, the cold beer sparks a little more life into you, a policeman passes by choosing to ignore the half-heartedly hidden cigarettes and then you remember what you came here to do. The rabbits stare with bulbous eyes, strange silent skinless creatures worlds away from the frisky, lop-eared furballs they once were. You choose one and a chicken to go with it. The butcher chops, cleans and wraps the animals holding two conversations all the while. The guts are wrapped too to be used in the broth. Someone brings over more beer. Lunchtime suddenly looks a long way away.

What do YOU think about innocent people in Australia that are in prison Firstly I am a believer of evidence. If there is evidence there to convict you then you are guilty. If there isn't then you shouldn't be where you are. You do the crime you do the time. However people somtimes have people plant evidence so that they shift the blame from themselves. In this case I feel sorry for them, but how do we know the what is true and what isn't? I wonder about this question though. I would of thought you might be more interested in my views on death row. Our country has no corporal punishment and a lot of your states in USA do! That is more of a concern to me as I don't believe in the eye for an eye theory. I have seen a number of cases in the states where people have later been released after going through the torment of Death Row. I think for Australians though if you are innocent then fight, keep fighting to proove your innocense. Don't ever loose faith in yourself because if you start to doubt yourself others will too. I was going to start with my thoughts on David Hicks but I still have my doubts about him... maybe some other time today........ gone tomorrow..xx

Debutante, My home work assignment is to tell you about a book that I have read (other than the Bible)that was most influential on me and why? That's an easy one. Single, Married, Separated, Life after Divorce by Dr. Myles Munroe. It was the turning point in my healing process from my divorce. It explained about love--how it is a choice a decision. We choose to love someone. It explained the difference between the chemistry and the choice to love. The Biblical aspects of marriage and divorce. It also talks about the attachments we make with other people and how that affects who we are. It is a wonderful book. I saw Dr. Myles Munroe in one of the videos for DivorceCare group and that is how I found out about his books. I'm trying to read everything that he writes. I just think that the Lord has blessed him with a gift to share Jesus with us through his books. Another good one is Understanding the Power and Purpose of Prayer and I think Dear Debutante that one would be a good one for you to read. If you pray in the manner that he instructs in this book--you will really be able to commune with God. TTFN Aquariesgirl!!!!!

Your TOPIC: How do you find the best relief from YOUR pain? So many different types of pain. The only relief I get from migraines is just from resting in a quiet dark room. Knee and back pain usually helped by excercises, and when I'm desparate - acetemiaphen. Emotional pain? I tend to retreat and do whatever I can to cheer up. Hugging a plush friend, snuggling with my weird wolf hubby, listening to music or watching a movie. Sometimes the only thing that works is to accomplish something. Cleaning the house, catching up on filing, re-organizing cubbards. When I'm done, the house looks better, and that makes me feel better. Sanity and normalcy are over-rated ![]()

Oops - Here is my post. I have been off work and sleeping a lot as I have flu and feel like crap. Here is mine - even though it is a bit on the short side. Feel free to give me a make-up assignment if you are dissapointed. South Africa should not be the 51st state for many reasons. Just off the top of my head, they include the following: >SA is bigger than a state >SA is is an actual country made up of provinces which are like states >Per Capita, SA has better technology in certain markets than the US >SA has more people statistically that have mobile phones than the US >SA has a better president and most recent ex-president than the US Umm, I think I better stop there.

Your HOMEWORK assignment: You have been hired by one of the most popular new rock bands in London to get picsa at their live concert. You find yourself at the concert just as the band kicks in and your digital camera dies. The battery has not taken the charge and you do not have a spare battery or camera. What do you do and why? BUT ~ thinking even worse disaster has struck and there is either NO shop open near the gig venue or just NO shop and I can't acquire more batteries then I would go and steal a camera off one of the other photographers or borrow a camera or cell phone that has a camera from a member of the audience....ask around if anyone has any spare batteries. Failing that ~ I would just explain the situation to the band and make arrangements to go and photograph them at their next gig ~ probably for free Why? because if I've been hired by a band to take photos then I would do my best to make sure I DID take photos of the band. Life is Loud Turn up the volume and DANCE ROCK ON !!

I'm a VERY organised person and ALWAYS recharge the batteries and have spares before I leave home to go to a gig ~ then during sound check I always shoot a few test pics just to check the battery, see how the lighting at the venue looks and to check my camera settings so the scenario is unlikely to happen ~ however ~ IF total and utter disaster WERE to strike then I would either run out to the nearest store and buy some more batteries ~ knowing the band's set is usually over an hour I would have plenty of time to do that as I can usually get all the shots I need during two or three songs. OK. Your assignment: You are a Roman govenor who has been sent to Gaul to crush a rebellion. You have 12,000 troops at your disposal A band of 30,000 barbarians is marching southward toward Rome. What do you do and why?HA!oh yah, i know i am gonna like score A+++ with this at the least. Me a roman governer with a troop of 12000 to squash 30,000 barbarians?oooo please! Mmmmm--- the God lord has equipped me with more than meets the eye, and if the target group is composed of a handful of red blooded male, well i dont believe they would be barbaric enough to resist the sight of a few high raised skirts of the 6000 female smiling troops. Barbaric or not, i am yet to encounter any male that cannot resist the opportunity for an 'imagined fantasy of pleasure'. East or west, always approach from the north and aim down south! And why would i? For the obvious reasons i would be outnumbered and the fact that the best strategy is to always aim at the weakest point of the opponent. LOL, honest debutante if i dont score good on this then i think it will confirm you are very naive about today's 'name of the game'.I dont know am actually pleased about my answer, got excellent vibes on this one, ha! Take care and sorry for not submitting sooner, i assumed the assignment would be posted
