What an enlightening post...its amazing how most of the members here have to endure and yet able to find time to reach others.And i feel all deserve a round of applause for been courageous n confessing about it and accepting your condition without feeling ashamed or inadequate.

Of course alot of ignorant people are quick to isolate and display stigma...

I would propose as a tribute for your courage and as a means of getting people to be more understanding and probably recognise some of these ailments, each of you could honor us with an article or post on this, how you manage to cope with it and what advise you can give...

None of the above, but I do have Epilepsy. Depression is largely the difference between your hopes/expectations, and your achievements. If you expect to live in a 40 room mansion, but end up in a one bedroom apartment, you are going to be deeply depressed. If you expect to be homeless, or live in a studio apartment, a one bedroom will make you happy. Attitude is a large part of life.
