Any "Two Hearts" in Your Life ? At least 10 more inches of snow ! My car is being picked up by AAA. I hate the fact that there's no distribuitor cap or carburator in cars these days. I was always good at messing around under the hood and getting a car going. My new job wont start now till after mud season. This being a seasonal tourist town everything slows or shuts down during 'mud' season or ' taint '. 'Taint season' is when taint ski or summer or foliage season. The store I work at is closing 2 days a week for mud season. I only work there 2 days a week and one of the days is one of mine. My husband and go on unemployment for a few weeks now. Strange but I am trusting in life and not feeling very anxious about all this. I have the feeling that the universe is ' conspiring in my favour' . ' That's an old saying among students of the metaphysical. It's so true. A lot of us when we get into negative thinking almost feel and act as if there's a conspiracy against us. In most native culture I've been told there is talk of "Two Hearts" - negative people. Negativity was probably the most strongly prohibited characteristic, orientation, and/or behaviour amongst almost all Native people. It was sometimes believed by the whites that it was superstition which made the natives dislike negative people but I believe it was their sophisticated psychological understanding of human nature (which they share with the Hunas of Hawaii) and the intuitive knowledge of the interconnectedness of all - and the resulting impact of even one negative though or statement on the rest of the tribe not superstition which caused this feeling. The natives were very aware of the unseen elements out of which our daily and total lives are created. They realized the impact of thoughts and words on matter. Physicists and researchers including Dr. Larry Dossey have told us that in double blind studies even blood cells on a slide react to intentional thoght directed towards them I have read that the Natives felt that 'Two Hearts interfered with the rain dances. I went to a pow wow one clear summer day after a dry spell when the trees were so limp and dry looking - and every time the rain dance was performed a summer shower would fall. There needs to be positive and confident belief in order to manifest such things. Just went to a book called Voice of the Turtle ( American Indian Literature 1900 to 1970 - just know to see if that was one of the places I thought I may have seen sometthing written about two hearts. I opened the book at random to page 240 and as an illustration that the Universe is indeed conspiring in my favour - I opened exactly to the a page about " two hearts." It's a piece from the memoirs of Talayesva a hopi chief. He left behind about 8 thousand hand written pages about his life and that of his people. Two Hearts he says in his words are; " very unfortunate but powerful people, members of every race and nation, organized into a worldwide society (on the thought and feeling plane I think he means) in which they spoke a common language". And don't they though - they all sound so similar. I hear echoes of their tones and words in my own self when I allow myself to slide into negativity. Talayesva continues to say that the "Two Heart" are " mean, fussy, and easily offended and forever making mischief." According to native belief these poor people are out of harmony and out of balance, not only are they unhappy and they spread that unhappiness throughout their community. Got any of these in your life ? From what I've read in your blogs you do. I know I do - and I have slowly and gently diminished my contact. I am still available to them but on a self protective limited basis and when our interchanges become too draining on my positive outlook I manage to extricate myself and move on with my day - and life. Have a wonderful day and keep your day on track with a single hearted purpose to manifest the best possible results for yourself and all those you encounter out of what is available around you and ... in the rich potential of the unseen which all is born out of. Hi Flame, I came here thinking I would be reading about YOUR car, and I have..but then you go into "two heart"..which I find very interesting. I feel like you, I think we all have a "two heart" or two(no pun intended)in our life. And like you, I am trying my best to slowly and gently diminish my contact. I hope I am not coming across in any way as being selfish, but I need to think about and care for my own spirit too. I really like that.."the Universe is conspiring in my favor." Thank you for sharing this. I believe positivity is very important, to send out and receive. The Universe feels it~as does our soul. I hope your car gets fixed inexpensively and soon. I also know what a pain it is to be without a car in rural Vermont. I have TripleAAA too. I recently got on their auto/home insurance policies too~the cheapest I have found anywhere. 'Taint' season, huh? Hahaha!! That got me laughing  I have never heard that before but I love it! Hahaha! It is snowing here too and the Easter Bunny will have to wear some winter clothes around here. The weather forecast says snow all weekend. I will have to dig myself out tomorrow. Thanks for sharing the "two hearts". I love learning of the native ways and taking part in them. It maybe connected to a past life of mine. I would recommend to anyone to go out and experience some of the native ceremonies in there own areas. Funny how spirit works with us, a friend of mine always reminds me that there are no coincidences and everything happens for a reason. take care Sylvia
