 My step-daughter is visiting this week. It's been....about six years since I've seen her. We've made plans to get together over those years, but they have always fallen apart at the last minute. Jamie's as much an organizer as I am...but she can work with chaos better than I do so she's helping me work through some of the worst of the chaos downstairs. After we do some spider busting with the shop vac, of course.

So...if you don't see me around...I'm fine. I'm having a wonderful time and wish you were here. Really. We could use all the hands we can get. We're off to Spider City. If we don't come up for air within the next three days....send help.

 I would love to hang with ya ari....will bring Eddie, Dan, Dean, sunlover, and Munchy to do the chasing the spiders out and we just sit back and watch them haha

 If it were monsters under the bed then maybe, but spiders! Count me out. My kryptonite. I hope you have a nice visit and get much accomplished

 Will you be killing the spiders before shop vacing them? I've found that vacuumed live spiders have a tendency to find ways to live in the vacuum, even if you use it all the time. I'm not spider fearful, but emptying a bag only to find those billions of little spiders that come out of their mothers when you disturb them all over the inside of the vacuum, was not pleasant.

I wish you luck on your spider hunting. Just clean that vac really good when you're done.

I'm thinking Smeagoll could...coax them out of their hidey holes.....since spiders are his brothers....Carolyn could stand guard with the shop vac....and Chelle could help us scream.

Ick...I hadn't considered that. They actually like...hatched in the shop vac? I'll be bleaching that sucker out, I think. Thanks for the advice.

Ah well....Spider City is my basement....which houses untold numbers and varieties of spiders....we know that brown recluse and hobos are indigenous to the area. A brown recluse bite is nasty....and necrotizes the skin. A hobo bite is nasty...but not as nasty as a brown recluse. So...we are cringing a bit at the idea.

 Spider slayers rule! We will worship you as gods and feed you frozen grapes....as long as you murder all the spiders you find....and that means you have to tackle......the crawl space....blech....
