The end is often much like the beginning; a single moment in time in which we realize that all that once was has become something new. Life moves in circular patterns spiraling ever outward. Imagine the newly born baby whose life is focused only upon its own immediate needs, and the elderly woman who can see eternity in the wink of an eye. She no more knows the answers than the infant, but she has seen beyond the edge of the known world and has glimpses of what the future holds.
And the spiral moves ever onward.
It expands in slowly increasing circles as the range of knowledge and awareness within each person also grows. There are places where it is entangled with the spirals of other people, twisting and twining together for a time as each explores the limits of the other. We so rarely realize that we are without limit. What is limited today reaches new heights tomorrow. Restrictions to progress are only those boundaries we assign to ourselves.
And the spiral moves ever onward.
All of the universe is filled with such spirals; many following the same path until chance diverts its passage and separation becomes the key to survival. It isn’t about that which isn’t, but that which is. It isn’t about that which can’t be, but that which can. That which can be is limited only by the vision of those who see. So simple in its entirety and yet we often cannot recognize the truth in simplicity. Our minds have spiraled until they begin to anticipate the complexities of the universe. The universe is explicitly simple; a simple spiral extending eternally; a spiral matching each other spiral in principle and yet singular in shape and form, color and texture.
And the spiral moves ever onward.
Needles taking swift, sure stitches create the texture of each spiral; create the curve in precisely the color and shape in which it is walked. Perhaps the tapestries woven under our feet are not so colorful as those under another’s. Who ever proclaimed we each should have what the other has achieved? You are not me, nor I you; neither should we choose to be for our paths are littered with the boulders of choices yet unmade and steps yet untaken. You cannot walk my path for me. You can only take my hand and walk beside me for the time we are given together.
And the spiral moves ever onward.
If time itself is the gift, each life that enters into that time becomes a tiny gemstone of immeasurable value. Woven into the tapestry of my life are so many diamonds, rubies, sapphires….each heart opened unto another becomes a tiny colored beacon of light illuminating its corner of the whole until the entire carpet is aglow with the love and joy received. Each tiny gemstone broken open becomes its own tiny spiral within the entirety of my whole, as I am only a tiny spiral within the entirety of the universe. A single sparkling light gifted unto the whole; one of many, one of you.
And the spiral moves ever onward.
We spend lifetimes searching for the core of all we are; that which has the greatest value in our world. The answer is so simple that it is represented by the same spirals that shape our hopes. Each spiral alone is a tiny spinning toy tossed in the winds of fate and time. Each spiral held closely to another is, in time, intertwined and stabilized by every other spiral, becoming a part of the universal whole. The foundation of who we are becomes focal when we view ourselves as part of all; I am a corner of you as you are a corner of me. Without your hand to hold, I am no more than a freely dancing mote of dust too soon blown away by an errant breeze.
And the spiral moves ever onward…..
Until it captures each of us within the softly glowing web of life and binds us tight, one to another. It is the goal, it is the hope of tomorrow that we should reach out those hands and touch the universe…in every other hand offered. It is the best dream of fate that we should join together to become all….in one….and one…in all.
So the spiral can move forward.

The big BANG theory
I try to avoid the black holes in life myself, but in the end truth will be found for all. To late to do anything about it though. One can only hope for a butterfly effect. To somehow positively effect the universe and in some small way make it a more hospitable place. As we expand towards our inevitable end.
Ah, once again breakfast has been served

I've learned to enjoy being breakfast. Anything that can make you think for awhile...is a great thing. You have an interesting mind that takes different twists on what I see. I enjoy that.
I think it is almost a requirement of life...that we someone positively affect the universe....even if it is only in how we touch one life....
Touch...touch...touch, touch....lol....
