Tears, like rain water, Fall achingly from leaden eyes. Ribbon shrouded heart Fluttering in tattered breezes; No single instant Just a world defined in gray No hesitation Just the words you need to say. Dreams, like sunset's glow, Transparent melodies breaking. Faded the palette Of the artist's colored template Each echoed whisper Chambered in lusterless tinting Each redacted day Filtered with hunger's hinting. Hope, like tempered winds, Anticipated in silence Forged in molten rock As the double-edged sword hanging. Impartial balance Justice's remaining measure; Entangled binding Of the heart's outstanding treasure. Fate, like haunting mists, Embalming frigid skin; soul's ice. Twining limbs chastened. Love's eternal resting places Embodied in dust, Unfettered spilling of life's blood. Ashes to ashes Forever bathed within the flood. Love, like fragile flakes, Snow falls in heated passages; Unopened letters Somehow lost within memories Unsoiled destiny Shattered in impassioned pleading Still he takes her hand Celebrates while she lies bleeding. Feel the passion, walk in peace, live in love....Ari

This was not what I expected to find here tonight. It does lie bleeding, and the wound is very deep and very fresh. "If it doesn't hurt anyone else and makes you happy, then make it happen."
