Aside from sun, what else reminds you of summer?
Certain foods?
Activities?
BBQ's?
Beach?
I was busy cooking yesterday ( for about 4 hours!! ) , potato salad, macaroni salad, steaks and was thinking about summer and food.
Salads aren't a 'usual' food in my house in fall and winter, but come Spring/Summer we eat alot of salads, corn on the cob, fruit, veggies etc.
So how does Spring and Summer differ for you than Fall and Winter. In the things you eat, places you go and activities you participate in?

Hope your weekend has gone well for you all! Almost Monday again, time is flying by!!

My garden demands attention and the washing drys on the rotary line
Otherwise trips to the beach, My 10 year growing all sorts of produce, which we can enjoy (way to much being produced for one small family) so he's selling some here and there, oh and the long summer holiday is just around the corner, MMMM finding things to keep the little Darlings (who are not so little now) amused.
Treat me with respect and I'll treat you the same

lmao on your answer Eddie. Come on, she phrased this question so nicely & that is the best you can do?
Summertime invokes so many different emotions within in me soley by the weather. When the weather makes that final change & we no longer have to deal with the elements winter & even spring unfortunately brings us it has to at least put us in a better mood. At least for one day The first thing summer takes me his outside more where I can do many different activities.
One thing that summertime will bring into my life is heading to the beach.
Surprised Eddie didn't mention BBQ's, so I will. Enjoying the outside environment at a BBQ & than enjoying the food at the BBQ.
In answering your final part of your question, I think the elements winter brings us opposed to what summer brings us unfortunately makes it virtually impossible at times to go outside to enjoy certain events. I have to admit though, I like the four seasons.
My favorite when the weather cooperates is Autumn & the Spring.

I love to see people's clothing change with the season. Summer also brings a lot of faces out of their hiding holes. Lots of children out for school holiday running here and there; others with bikes, roller skates and all those sort of games you can think of; ice cream vendors and splashing water hydrants. While spring, springs out life with all the green vegetation, life is in its climax during summer

Hi Supaar thanks for stopping by. The kids do make summer so much fun with all their activities, seeing their excitement, watching them enjoying themselves.
