There are those that are nice and those people that aren't so nice, some are really nasty. How is being a nice/good person viewed? Is this an open invitation to take advantage, because they are nice? Just curious as to what you all think. Thanks for reading. |

I am not nice because of how someone will view me, I'm nice because I want to be. My faith allows me to believe that if someone takes advantage of me, they will pay for that from a higher power. But that's my belief. Hope your doing well Mary

There are always going to be people who see a nice person as an easy target and take advantage of them. And some people who take advantage and not even be consciously aware they are doing it. To me, it doesn't matter. I have to try and be as nice a guy as I can. It's not for anyone else's benefit. It's for mine. I do have a philosophy about that tho. I trust everyone a hundred percent. Until they show I can't. Enjoy the ride. All you take with you when you leave is the experience.

I am not sure if I am misunderstanding your comment. How is being a nice/good person viewed? I have heard so many people make comments such as, 'nice people are azz kissers' 'nice people are fakes' 'nice people are nieve' (SP?) etc. So I was wondering if this is what people generally think? There is the old saying that "nice guys finish last". Then there is the saying from the TV Show the Incredible Hulk: "You're making me angry, You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

I think the same way as cruiser. God will take care of others who are cruel to people. I just let him take care of it. I have a question for you though. Do you think that those that are purposely not nice to others, have less faith in God? That they are only depending on themselves to get through life? I also agree with SirT. I will trust everyone 100% and give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove themselves not trustworthy.
