Be Seated  Our DSL went down with the storm yesterday... they used duct tape and barbed wire to get it restored overnight. My blogable accomplishment for the day thus follows today. I'd purchased a remnant of fine fabric, made in the USA from Hobby Lobby 2 1/2 yards +/- a few months ago to redo the seats of our French Provincial Dining Room set. I finally got around to working on it between tornado warnings and MUTTs Inc.  I split the fabric in half then set about attaching the seemed side to the front of the now reinforced chair seats.  With the front firmly stapled down I pulled the fabric taught and attached the back side.  Next I drew in the corners, much like wrapping a package, then stapled them into place.  With all the corners drawn in and the sides stapled into place the seat is finished.  This is what the seats look like when placed on the chairs. I am so happy the large rose was repeated prominently on every seat when I was finished.  There was a small piece about 8" left over scrap fabric when I was done. Also I was a bit concerned I might run out of staples then have to go to town and get more.  A friend surprised me this afternoon to drop off a of seeds he'd picked thinking of me. Made my day ! |

JD was a little late for dinner. Just chicken nuggets and fries..... Fast & Easy so I don't have to stand on one foot so much.

MUTTs Inc just went out with JD to bed down the horses.... I am dozing off. I was asleep by 9ish last night. I am just run out by the time it is dark.

I did get out to the shop and got my piece of wood cut but a corner of the plastic surfacing came loose and I had to glue it under pressure.

I am getting saddle sores from setting so much... I am always UP and busy.

Nice of your friend to drop off some flower seeds for your gardening pleasure. I'm sure you will find just the right spot to plant them.

Better late than never with dinner. I had fettuccine in taco shells for supper with some cake for dessert. Helped a friend move some stuff to his city house today, and that gave me a chance to get some milk, eggs, celery, carrots, and coffee creamer. Forgot to get some bread, but I have enough to last till payday.
