Raftar se guzar te hain bheed ke ye kafile,
Mashroof hai har koi is tarha yahaan.
Waqt hai kahaan insaan insaan ko jaan bhi le,
Ek pal tehar jaaye, apne nishaan dekh bhi le.

Ab bus har lamha ek jaddo-jehad ban ke rehgayee hai.
Koi khusi yahaan bechta hai, to koi gham ka saudagar hai
Zindagi ke raftaar ne rishtoan ke matlab aise badal diye
Insaan Insaan na raha, Zindagi, Zindagi na rahi.

Kya hai hasil aisi zindgai ka,
Jazbaat ke bhi jahaan boli lagti hai,
Daam lage hai jahaan har rishtoan per,
Insaniyat bhi bikti hai jahaan bazaaroan mein.

Kyun yoon bematlabi hogayee hai zindagi,
kyun har jism se juda yahaan rooh bhi hai.
Zara tehar bhi to ja tu zindagi,
Kyun tez itni teri raftar hogayee hai.
