unity is strength, division is weakness....
Do we have a reason to celebrate?? Africa Day 2015

Today marks that special day, the continent of Africa comes together to celebrate this milestone, African Day in the hearts of all.

Fifty-two years ago, we marked unity in Africa on May 25.
Learning more about our continents history and the role it played in ending apartheid.
It was on this day that 17 African countries gained Independence from their European colonisers.
Since 1963, 21 more states have joined the, African Union.
While Africa Day, is only a national holiday in a few African countries, the event is commemorated in at least 30 out of the 32 African Countries.

The theme for Africa Day, is. "We are Africa,"

With each new day in Africa, a gazelle wakes up knowing he must outrun the fastest lion or perish. At the same time. A lion stirs and stretches. Knowing he must outrun the fastest gazelle or starve. It,'s no difference for the human race. Whether you consider yourself a gazelle or a lion, you have to run faster than others to survive.
