Pope tells priests to pardon women who opt for abortion and the doctors who help in such.

Pope Francis, The Argentine Pontiff today called on all priests to pardon all women who opt for abortion as well as the doctors who help them so. He gave this call to mark the upcoming Jubilee year , overruling hardline tradtionalists with in the Catholic church. He called upon them to use their discretion to absolve them of the sin of abortion and forgive them for it. He further said that he met with many women who are under duress to go for this choice that has an inbuilt gravity of sin. He announced that in this Jubilee year, the period of forgiveness and remission will run from 8th December, 2015 to 26th November, 2016. This Holy Year occurs every 25 years and it is the 29th in the 700 years history of this 1.2 billion strong community.
