Over 40,000 register to attend the September 27 meet of indian PM Modi at Silicon Valley, US.

With spirits running high for the ensuing visit of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi scheduled for September 27, 2015; already over 40,000 registered to attend his public address on the lines of his Madison Square Garden reception at New York which was attended by about 30,000. This number is expected to cross 50,000 and so the organisers have no choice than draw lots to issue free entry passes. This is the first visit on an Indian PM to Chicago in the West Coast, after that of Morarji Desai in 1978. It was Jawaharhal Lal Nehru, the first Indian PM to visit this part of US.
