Reminded of May Bella, this post on International Kissing Day.

Thanks to our good Canadian friend Maybella, who was the first to remind here that July 06 is going to be observed as International Kissing Day; that stimulated me to post this blog. It is UK that started with observing this day way back, with most countries following suit. We all aware of the fact that kiss is multifaceted as it has different connotations with the relationship/ties of both partners in kiss unfolding what that kiss is meant and where it is destined for. The kissing partner could be a mother, , wife, friend, girl friend/boy friend, a well wisher or an unknown baby; with the place of kissing and the message flowing through deciding what the kiss is.
The concept of kiss is every where in the society and it has no bars. It could be a first kiss, a formal kiss a passionate kiss or a good bye kiss or some thing different. Kissing day aims to make us appreciate a kiss in its own right.
Since 2005, competitions are being held to decide on the longest kiss, with the first record being held by British for 31 hours and 30 minutes. Over the years, this record is broken and the present record for longest kiss is held by Thai couple at 58 hours 35 minutes and 58 seconds since February 2013.
Though kissing has its own positive vibes and negative traits, every one with out exception enjoys kissing, that includes even animals and birds.
Lastly, I am reminded of the practice followed among Hindu married couple of the South indian state of Andhra Pradesh, where newly wedded kiss and exchange the beetal nut squash from one to the others mouth.
But please be reminded of the pral hygiene and esthetics, that are most important playing vital role in kissing.

 Rajive. wow kissing day....

But just curious to know that when the record was being made, the partners were kissing each other, did they stop for eating, pissing or any other urgent calls......
