British shoe seller collects $585,000 in just 2 days in Crowd Funding campaign for Greek bail out.

Financial crisis in Greece is the latest burning topic of the day, that can impact the whole world, but not confined to European Union alone. A shoe seller from Britain, Brit Thom Feeney, who has his shop in Covent Garden, London, floated a net Crowd Funding campaign, titled Greek bail out fund, for the people, by the people, to help fellow Europeans that saw a record voluntary contribution of $585,000 in just days, with 32,000 generous donors coming forward to help Greece that owes $1.7 billion to International Monetary Fund. The rush to contribute was so heavy that the site crashed early Wednesday.
Hats off to the guy for his novel humane idea.
