Female Viagra is one step nearer to reality.

The US Food and Drug Administration advisory committee gave its nod to Flibanserin, the female version of Viagra, produced by Sprout Pharmaceuticals. It is meant to boost the libido of women who struggle with decreased sex drive. It works by boosting the response of the receptors in the brain to chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. It was rejected earlier in the years 2010 and 2013, but Sprout Pharmaceuticals vigorously pursued it with FDA. Now FDA will work out condionalities and then the Drug will be sold in the open market.
