Hello Rani, are you hearing us? Nothing can be most horrifying than this earth quake that has hit Nepal, in particular Kathmandu, that devasted your city; as well as some parts of Bihar, UP and West Bengal, India; which took a heavy toll of over 1500 so far. The earlier worst hit EQ of Nepal was of 1934 that took a human toll of about 12,000 in Nepal and over 7,200 in Bihar, India; while that of 2004, in Sumatra, Indonesia over 224,000 humanbeings lost lives.
We all can visualise how grieved you all are by this worst earth quake, the biggest that hit the world since 1900. Besides human lives, there is a huge loss of animal life, plants, crops, property, documents; besides breach of roads, crumbling of land marks, power and communications, besides adversely impacting water and sanitation lines.
In this hour of crisis, we are with you and your family Rani, please rise back as a Sphynx, be back to normal with a bang and be with us cheerful. What ever lost is lost in this Natural Divine Act, but we are forthcoming to be of any assistance to you in what ever form it is needed. Sapna ji was the first to break this unfortunate news to FFians and post a blog; while she is in touch with every one seeking to know how you are. We are greatly worried about you Rani. Please try to get in touch with any of us, by what ever way you can.
Our condolences to all the bereaved families and we pray for the souls of the dead to be in peace. Similarly, we are worried about two fellow FFians like Katie and Bikramaditya. Hope both and their families are fine.
I request one and all, to update us on the safety and welfare of these Nepalese.
