Record in gulping beer by the present and former Prime Ministers of Australia.

A former Prime Minister of Australia Robert (Bob) Hawke held the world record of drinking beer some time before, gulping 1.4 liters of beer in just 11 seconds in 1955 and this feat arguably lead him to become PM later in 1983 when he gave up this grog.

Not to be out done, the present Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abott walked in to Royal Oak hotel in Sydney last night and skolled that beer in less than 10 seconds.

The present record in this direction is being held by Steven Petrosino of US, since 1977 who gulped 1 liter of beer in just 1.3 seconds
