First ever electric power operated hybrid aeroplane is out from British.

Aviation accounts for 2% of man made emissions world over, which could be reduced by alternate energy flow planes. In this direction the first ever hybrid aircraft that can recharge its batteries took off yesterday in Britain yesterday. This low carbon green flight is developed by researchers of Cambridge University and Boeing company. The test flight flew to a distance of 1,500 ft from Sywell aerodrome near Northampton.

Great feat indeed. Yet another novel development.
