Do animals go to heaven? Pope Paul VI had no doubts , but not sure of what Pope Francis feels.

Pope Paul VI who reigned from 1963 until his death in 1978 said he had no doubts that one day we will again see animals in the eternity of Christ, he said this to a boy while he was grieving at the loss of his pet. But a remark from Pope Francis that Sacred Scripture involve everything that sorround that came from the mind and heart of the God that widened the scope of salvation to animals and all of creation. But there are no clear signs of any position he has taken on this.

While Catholic teachings neither reject nor reaffirm the notion that animals have souls, there is no hard and fast answer in Catholicism to this question as per many in the know of things, for it is an emotional question to many people. But The Bible says that the Lord sees even every sparrow that falls, as per some.
