Taking a step closer realisatoion towards the ambition of sending humanbeings in so space, India on Thursday tested successfully the atmospheric reentry of a crew model after its heaviest launch vehicle GSLV Mk-III blasted off from ISRP, Sriharikota, falling in my home of Andhra Pradesh.

It has the following features:
* It weighs over 3 tonnes, with a 2.7 cup cake shaped crew model , with a diameter of 3.1 meters.
* It has the largest parachute ever made in the country.
* It can carry up to 3 astronauts.

Another feather in the cap of Indian space research. Well done India. Congratulations.
