Facebook likely to charge it's users of US$2.99 (Indian Rs180) a month from Nov1, 2014.Will it work?

Facebook, the social media giant is mulling with a plan to charge the users of FB with a monthly fee of US$2.99, which comes to about Indian Rupees 180 from November 10, 2014 to allow them to log in and use it.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zackerberg has announced this Monthly Service Plan in a press conference held in Chicago, US recently. He went on to say that this new move is unavoidable as the firm would face serious cash crunch had if such measure is not taken keeping the rising cost in mind.

As of now Facebook is the mostly used social media network on the earth. This envisaged monthly fee would not go down well with the users and at least 50% of them will be preferring an alternative. This measure will surely help other net working sites in the coming days.
