US President Barack Obama's credit card not accepted in New York cafe.

It doesn't happen in India to V V I Ps, but it happens quite often in US. Identity theft is a big issue in US.

Barack Obama, the US President had shock of his life when his credit card was not accepted in a New York cafe that made him wonder if he had become a victim of identity theft. This happened when the first couple visited a New York City eatery on September 24, 2014 during his UN trip to address world leaders. He promptly complained to the bureau concerned that his card was cloned. Obama while speaking at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said that he was trying to explain to the waitress that he has been paying his credit card bills. He said luckily First Lady Mitchell Obama was able to whip out a card that they could use.
He just signed an order "Buy Secure" to make the double safety system of chip and pin for credit/debit cards on the lines what UK follows. 4 out of 10 card users are victims of their cards spurned for some reason or other.

The Secret Service is charged with protecting the US President, but who's watching his wallet?
