Best wishes on this "You go' girls day" and "International Day of the Girl ".

Today is the DAY of WOMEN and GIRLS. What a coincidence?

October 11 is observed as a day of girls in recognition of Kathryn Dwyer Sullivan of New Jersey, US, a geologist by profession and a NASA astronaut who was a member of 3 US Space missions; who is the first American woman to walk on space and her courage and appreciate her efforts. So I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes and THANKS to every woman whom I know with regards and best wishes to all women whom I treat as good friends (blog and chat) here like Shalu, Kavitah, Sapna_ji, Rani, AK47, Angel_of_Sea, Cilla, River View, Loan Tran, Jay_Cookie,Katie, Tweenie, luvlife, khristine, mariana to name few (sorry I am sure I missed a lot many). You all did some thing great this year and let us all party together,

October 11 is observed to greet girl by all cutting across lines including gender to end violence against girl and women, for 1 in out of 10 girl world over are victims of s***** violence some time or other in their life time.

Thanks to Cilla for reminding me about this through her latest blog. As Cilla mentioned, nothing can be a better recognition than choosing Malala Yousafzai, the 17 year old girl for the coveted Nobel peace Prize as a joint winner for 2014.

CHEER UP ALL GIRLS AND WOMEN.
