TALKING OFF RELIGIONS...... AND...... WHY WE ALL COME TO CHAT HERE. To lie is a malignant itch, while to try to mislead others is a Himalayan blunder; as in both cases truth prevails and facts speak that truth. In this incapable, mindless garbed art of miscarriage, one falls flat; like a person did an hour before in a chat room, trying to play his last spent up card to tell the chat world at large that I am a muslim. I am proud to be a HINDU and I shall remain a HINDU and I don't produce any credentials to prove so, though my last visit to Muktinath, Nepal is yet another effort in my religious direction to visit and pray there that is a pipe dream of hindus. Having said this, I need to deliberate briefly on religion to wipe out some myths and clear some prevailing misunderstandings about religion. What is religion? Religion is an organised collection of beliefs, cultural systems, world views that relate to humanity. So every religion is ultimate bound by a common faith that has humanity as the sole goal. The world has about 730 religions comprising of 3200 to 4200 sects; with Christianity leading the table with 33.9% of the global population, followed by Muslims at 22.7% , with Hindus standing fourth at 13.8% as of June, 2012; while Buddhists stand at 6.77%, followed by Chinese. Further if one looks at following; about 59% are religious, while 36% do not subscribe to a particular religion, but 13% are clear atheists, saying no to religion. Having said this; I need to bare out my personal belief on religion which is a faith, while God is a faith. I am a total HINDU; but my Hinduism has many sects, with Vaishvaites and Shaivites even fighting over on trivialities, like Muslim sects Shias, Sunnis do. I don't subscribe these cut throat manners, as being a HINDU, I don't detest any religion, not even areligious nor atheists. Where ever I go, I make sure to list out the important holy places of religious value, besides those of world heritage and make sure to visit and pray. I did this in Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Turkey, Malaysia, Nepal, GCC countries as well. Not only visiting, I prayed in Churches in Malecca, Malaysia; Buddha shrine in Lumbini, Nepal to name a few. How ever I wish to pray in a Mosque, it did not materialise for reasons obvious; but I did visit popular mosques like Blue Mosque, Turkey, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat, Oman etc to look at architecture and hear to religious heads on what they got to say. Similarly, I don't hesitate to greet a Muslim with 'Salam Al-lekhum', bid bye saying Allah Hafiz; I do the same to Christians, by greeting them with Thy Lord bless you. There is nothing that bars one to bare out religion and it is totally idiotic to try to take on religion and play foolish to run amuke in open house to fool others; only to be fooled in return. In a religion, respect for what is sacred, reverence to the Gods is ultimate, but as Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Indian Nation, said, service to man is service to God. So humanity is ultimate that one should never forget. If multiple religions are permitted, I can take pride to follow Syncretism, as every religion has some thing good to offer. Religion is never bad, but some people can misuse it to meet their mired agenda.,. Now coming to other aspect, though trivial is; why we come here to chat? The title Friend Finder initself is self-revealing, we come here to find, make friends; but not with a concealed agenda; though there are few who come here to solicit, lure, mislead, abuse, threaten, intimidate and vulgarise. They meet with doom in due course and get decimated... Please forgive for all types of errors... I don't look back after I type.. come what may. FACTS SUSTAIN.TRUTH PREVAILS.I FOLLOW LORD KRISHNA's 108 COUNT. AFTER THAT NO MORE. |
