SOME REVEALING POSTS THAT ARE QUITE CONTRADICTORY : OPEN FOR CANDID DISCUSSION.

For some time, some quite interesting posts are doing round in social media, subscribing them to top notch Islamic scholars of repute in their own way, among their community in their native countries. While some readers felt that there are yet to be confirmed and vouchsafed if they are real; others felt that they are quite controversial, beyond facts and irrational; thus opening a Pandora's box. since these purported statements have wide ramifications on the present day society impacting health, justice system, liberties and nature; my inquistiveness went up making me galvanised to probe further beyond to ascertain facts. I am placing here under four such statements seeking a fair debate and comments from every quarter.

* Shaikh Sale Bin saad Al-Luhayddan, a leading psychologist and Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- KSA is on record asking women to prioritise mind over heart, that comes after many women in KSA coming openly to self drive much against the ban on such in that country. Over 11,000 women took lead to coming out with a web site to express their views on the need for women to drive, though as per Shaikh Quran though allowed women to ride camels & horses, but with their spouses or parents. It is in this context he is on record as reported in a news paper Sabq (September, 2013) that "women who drive cars suffer from ovarian problems and rolled up pelvis giving rise to congeniticaly deprived babies. Further he stated that 33% of the women on road cause accidents while only 9% of the men do in Gulf countries. Later to this, Prof Kamal al-Subhi took up a scientific study and presented a report to the government reinforcing the above, but with much more negative and mesogynistic comments like he is against women driving where a report UNESCO was referred to (not confirmed though) that states the ill effects of various kinds which adversely impact women who drive.
( Disgustingly unfortunate- A newly postulated ridiculous theory on gynaecology)

** Moulana Mohammed Khan Sheerani, Head of Council of Islamic Ideology, Pakistan stating that DNA test should not be used as evidence citing Quran which requires at least four witnesses to give evidence to that effect. Though he retracted it later on a mass out cry, he stood by it in principle.
( What a new postulate on Forensic medicine- out of mind indeed).

*** Majali Salem Kazen Sedeshi, Iranian Islamic scholar on record saying that many women who do not dress modestly, lead young men astray in the society which can lead to earth quakes....
( lo... a new theory and a lesson on Seismology)

**** Shaikh Abdul Aziz Beaz, Former Supreme authority of Islam & walking Quaran of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He wrote a book entitled "Evidence that the Earth is standing still in 1993 that states; if the earth is rotating as they claim, the countries, mountains, the trees and oceans will have no bottom and the people will see the eastern countries will move to the west and the western countries move to the east. The earth is that any one claiming, it is round is an atheist, deserving punishment" He passed away in 1999 and at the public out cry, the title of the was revised to 'Is earth flat'?
(Well, yet another out of mind observation on Geology)

As far I go; I disagree with all the four and condemn them tooth and nail. I stand by what science spoke about, but definitely not buy anything less than proven facts. While on women driving, there is no reported data on it's ill effects; DNA test is proved to be a bliss to confirm issues as parentage. Similarly, what women should wear should be left them and if men cannot accept such, it is their business. Lastly, about earth, it is well documented and proven, with nothing more required to prove otherwise.

Like wise, many people have been expressing views on women, modesty, their dressing, behaviour, like the Indian politicians have been doing. Like wise some radical religious fanatics expressing frenzied opinions and even passing fatwas enforcing orders much against the laws of the land. To an extent; some politicians and religious clergy are behind these braking up passions, creating hatred among masses and causing cleavage among gullible citizens; but with a mired agenda that is well known to them and obvious to the world at large.

SO I THROW ALL THESE 4 CONTENTIONS TO SMITHEREENS.

.Now the topic is open for discussion.
