DISORTED BLOGING ceases to amaze me, when empathy is replaced by sensationalization.RE:GRAEME POLLAK I was equally surprised to read the blog post by Aakash on Graeme Pollocks current plight of illness and Bankruptcy. While it is quite true that he suffers from ailments as mentioned in the blog as well as him being in dire straits financially.. it is NOT TRUE that he made the plea to the Indians controlling cricket ( ICC ) nor the IPL for assistance ! This plea came a Mr Abhishek Mukherjee, Cricket South Africa, CSA, who posted this quote" Please help Graeme Pollock, cricket boards and franchises of the world" unquote. In addition, Pollock's agent Basil O’Hagan conducted the interview and has admitted with h Vijay Tagore of" Mumbai Mirror" of the current status quo regarding this world famous South African. I personally have searched the local press reports on information regarding Graeme, but could not find any! Regardless of who it may be, many sportsmen/ women alike face such situations as their career is very limited in the sporting arena. A request such as this , is a reminder that being struck by a triple disease/disorder can befall anyone and at anytime! To home in on a nationality and bankruptsy is somewhat disgraceful when one looks at humanity as a whole! Graeme , has however volunteerd to work wherever possible as a coach or technical member in order to pay his debts. I most certainly will make my contribution to this humble , yet one of the greatest cricketers South Africa has produced! Graeme is seen in this picture waving his ICC "HALL of FAME " cap.
