A little bit about, The Ostrich
Standing 2.5 meters high and weighing 135 kgs.
the ostrich is the largest bird in the world.
Good eyesight and a long neck (which accounts for half its height)
enables it to spot danger from a long way off--- 1500 meters and beyond too-- if pursued it can run at a speed of 70 kmph
the ostrich has only two toes on each foot but they are as hard as a 's hoof . A kick can stun even a lion and will always try to escape from the ostrich if cornered.
