Empty mind knows no bounds ?

Is the saying above correct?

I came to Delhi last night for a presentation to the highest body of an Oil Company. The presentation was scheduled for 3 pm, accordingly considering 80 kms distance between venue and ariport, I booked myself on a return flight of 9 35 pm.

But since the all time charming Chairlady had to rush to Bombay, my presentation was preponed to 12 noon. Having finished my Power Presentation, had lunch with all and got my self rescheduled on 6 55 pm flight of same airline. The host promptly dropped me at the airport and I reached Delhi Domestic Terminal 1 at 4 pm. Thought would spend time relaxing in the thanda thanda cool cool Lobby with some complimentary beer, I checked in.

For those who may not know, Terminal 1 at Palam is the old Domestic terminal from where all airlines operated. With increase in number of Private Operators and increase in traffic, they have now built a modern Terminal 3 from where major airlines- Domestic and International operate.

The old terminal 1 was renovated and a few domestic lines operate from here. My travel airline operates from Terminal 1. Last night I landed at the same terminal and whisked thru the Arrival part effortlessly. During checking in this afternoon , again there was no indication of what lay ahead.

To my horror the departure area is under renovation. They have covered all the shops area, the lounge area and work at feverish speed is proceeding. There is big noise around of grinding machines and hammer shots. The welding behind the barriers give feeling of lightning. The Comfortable Lobby is closed and so is the eating area which accommodated quite some passengers. The scene here is worst than the railway station. Hundreds of passengers and very limited seats to rest the Rampyaari ( ) . And I have almost 3 hours to kill. I found that the staircase to the eatery was empty and nothing like sitting on the steps and getting overall view. Steps used to be the favourite place to line maro in college days

An empty mind. Chatted for some time in the India room and got bored. Aha empty mind just gazing around. Hey there are three large triangular multi colured pieces of cloth nicely hanging from the ceiling. What's the purpose, no idea Sir. I took a photograph of two of these pieces. Unfortunately the photograph is not 3 D and you wouldn't get the real idea how these look. Well well here is the picture.

What do these cloth pieces look like to you ? To me from where I am sitting, these look like the front view of a Bikini worn by a strong healthy robust gals sitting back to back. Thought of sharing this with you all how an empty mind perceives beauty in any thing

Well here is the ME sitting on the stairway and sharing this with you all. Guess what inspired me to write this Blog, a nice gal climbed up , inspired by my idea to relax on the stairway and I promptly handed her my mobile to click me. Later of course we chatted for some time and after she left to board her flight, I took up the Blog writing Smart Guy huh BTW we have exchanged our contacts

Here is Aakash reporting from the comfort zone of Terminal 1, Palam airport. Bye. Still have 75 minutes to kill. Hope not to get another crazy idea
