Because I Had Positive Emotions !!!!  May 24 is the Day of the Bulgarian Script and Culture. It's the day when high school graduate students have their graduation balls and after that begin to prepare for entrance university exams. I had my last graduation party with my last 12th grade students because as you know I took an early retirement as a state teacher. It was music, music, dances, dances, pictures for memos, and happy smiles.   One of the occasions when students show their gratitude to us, teachers,  , aaah, after so many tough days with them.It was nice...my last students' graduation ball..I've posted a pic of me with two of the many beauties that night. Let's wish them all graduates a succesfull start in life ! Wish you a week full of positive emotions ! Love, SL Keep love in your heart ! SL |

hello SL, mighty glad to know you are a teacher, for me, the greatest and noblest of all professions. A few years ago our teacher from elementary attended our reunion, and she was almost 80 yrs young btthe undisputed star of the event. Generals, Governors, Captains of industry, Dean of colleges, artists, her students all, bowed to her in reverence, a tribute for shaping us for who we are now. It saddens me to hear that you have retired from your vocation. If not for anything else, i am sad for those students who were not lucky enough to have known a teacher such as you. I am sure your former students will never forget you. P.S. please don't correct my grammar (just kidding)  i'll scratch your back...thats it.

I didn't know you were a teacher! So was my mother and most of my sisters  I feel happy to learn you had a good time with them and that they remembered to show their gratitude (you know, young people don't always remember that)

Must have been a very emotional situation, so glad it all went well and you have happy memories. I'm sure your job is not done yet and you will appear just as one or many students are ready to take your teachings. Take care. Treat me with respect and I'll treat you the same

I've always had the utmost respect for teachers, ever since my high school English teacher took it upon herself to encourage me to write, because, she said, "you have it in you to make the words flow beautifully." Yes, Poetdancer, you're right about teacher's work and and their payment. But students in specialized secondary schools differ in their approach to study and teachers.
